Man, its been a couple years since I last visited NZG how are you all doing?
I did my civic duty today, I voooted so hard.
Even staying away from pol recently my everyday interactions and observations with our new "citizens" has seriously demoralized me. There are just so many of them and they make no attempt to integrate at all. They already make up the vast majority of the next generation, I know someone who works at a primary school and its completely overrun with them. Even the best election candidate NZ first is nothing more than a bandaid over a gaping wound and that's in the insanely unlikely scenario they win a majority but that would never happen. The pendulum swings and all the sheep will vote labour....

Reposting from the thread about nz the other night, too much of a phoneposting cuck to write it up again.

t's sorta strange how close labour and national are this election in terms of policy. I mean it's like they're slowly morphing into the same party and playing softball with each other. The media shills the opportunity party hard and I'm starting to reckon TOP is just a potential proxy for labour and national. That way they can migrate staff and resources over into a shared neutral ground in case one of the major parties implodes, similar to what happened to the tories in the UK.

There seems be a sort of crypto solidarity between cuckson and chippie where they both are attempting to ostracize their radical wings (greens and the white identity part or NZF) and neuter maori racial politics. It's very strange how bland and boring both are, it's as if there's no ideological confidence to either of them.

I reckon they're freaking out now about the changing demographics and are increasingly finding themselves outnumbered and threatened. It's only a matter of time before you get a non retard Green politician and then you have a NZ mamdami killing labour. Or white identity politics rips through NZF and destroys National. Or indians coalesce into their own 7% jeet party. When that happens the artificially astroturfed opportunity party can be where the rats run from the sinking ship, and the center can hold.

TOP has regulating elections front and center on its website. It's like the internet regulations stuff, who actually wants this? There is basically zero grassroots support for either, and outside of that, they are the only ones able to get away with boomercide baiting with land taxes, which of course gets in salty renthogs voting. Any minor party even hinting at crashing housing prices like that would get a hard cordon and blacklist. They must be reaaally desperate to prop these guys up to allow that talk.

What do you guys think about Maori?

I am French but have lived in NZ for a few years and have had good interactions with them. But I was also not blind to the gangs, meth, brawls, thefts and whatnot so I think I can understand the perpective of a kiwi who wouldn't like them. And of course them being convenient tools for politicians to point at in order to try and shame pakeha.

They are however indigenous, unlike the mass immigrations from the past decades. One can't just preach "put them on planes to India" and be done with it so it seems like a complicated issue

Also, where do they stand on immigration? Given that they have already been colonized once, is there defiance or resentment among Maori towards the fact that the doors are wide open to more arrivals?

And be jumpy at any signs of corruption, nepotism and favoritism. And then you're in a similar situation to Fiji or Malaysia with their ethnic conflicts.

What annoys me is every ANZAC day having everyone talk about the Maori Battalion. Despite their impressive war record, you could be forgiven for thinking no European New Zealanders fought in it despite 100,000 of them being in uniform going off the prevailing portrayal of the war in NZ media. I have family who served in World War I and my personal opinion on that is wondering why they bothered.
