Whooping cough vaccination for a 2 month old baby. Should we do it or not? I'm very hesitant since the pandemic but don't want to take unnecessary risks

My kids all got whooping cough from it shedding from a friend's kid who had just gotten the vax (which is how most cases occur these days). It wasn't that bad. RSV when our kid was under 1 has been our toughest illness but more annoying than anything. In general none of the vaxxed diseases are that bad if you keep the kid hydrated.
Imagine even asking this question in YOOL 2026. Had an unvaxxed chadsome breastfed baby and fed him beef early and he's walking right on 9 months. He had the sniffles once for one day - meanwhile I gave it to him and I was sick for weeks (weak from many childhood vaccinations)

Vaccines aren't saving anyone from anything anymore, best case scenario for vaccines is its a money grab with zero consequences for the grabbers. They don't tell you this, but those measles outbreaks you keep hearing about, they're in the vaccinated, and would you look at that they're blaming the unvaccinated again. No, now your children's health is all hygiene and social isolation. With the way things are going, you might be better off staying inside for the next 3-5 years.

I have nothing against the whooping cough vax, the problem is 99.8% of pediatricians will refuse to have you as a patient if you don't religiously follow or completely reject the vaccine schedule guidelines. That means you get ALL the jabs or nothing, no picking and choosing.And for that reason, I'm out.
