Is a normal plane not literally already a flying car? It can also move very fast over the airfield on it's wheels before it lifts up.

Flying cars have been a thing on and off for a long time
The fundamental issue is that nobody really has a use for them which justifies all the effort

In terms of legal frameworks they're subject in many aspects to the one for aircraft
This means you can't just go for a quick flight in most cases or use it to get around a traffic jam
It also means vehicle maintenance is more stringent and checks more important
And of course don't forget you need to have a pilots license, if you intend to take passengers you need to be certified which means a minimum number of flying hours in that car in a set period
A lot of hurdles to go through for a flying car
But worse whats your use case? Why is a flying car superior to a car or a plane? When is it desirable to have?

Even the fans of Musks little explosion waiting to happen can't seem to come up with a use for it other than evading the police

OP is being retarded on purpose. "Flying cars" have existed for almost a century. They never end up being good as either a car or as an airplane and 99% of people don't want to have to get the pilots license or do the maintenance on them to be able to fly them. Also 90% of people probably shouldn't have a drivers license let alone a pilots license. They never end up being practical and the liability of them always kills the concept. It will likely be stuck in neat, but impractical development hell until automated small scale flight becomes viable, so again for legal reasons maybe never for the average person.

flying cars will never happen for the average person. you have to be able to fly a plane to have a flying car. even if the car was totally autonomous. the average person could never afford a "flying car".

Drones are quite easy to control, my bet would be on big drones that can carry people rather than actual cars.

>Germans invented the first computer a hundred plus years ago

Charles Babbage (bong) invented the first primitive mechanical computer circa 1840 (i think) but never built it and a german (Zuse) invented the first electronic computer in 1941. A decade ago someone actually built Babbages contraption and it worked.

BTW that german is also the guy who invented the idea that the universe is a computer simulation.

I absolutely love that when Euros are bragging about something great, they refer to themselves as Europeans. When you bring up how poor they are, how small their houses are, or anything else pathetic, they are quick to decentralize from being called European. They will refer to themselves as German or French and laugh at the smaller and poorer Serbia or Romania lmao. Euros are so retarded.
