4 train lines
50 bullet trains
1 new city at his space port

Elon could have built this with the amount he spent for the campaign for Ken Paxton
>>
>>545255138
It's just United States as a whole can no longer into major infrastructure projects anymore

Are you sure about this, anon?
>>
>>545255138
K-lon is responsible for the space side of the surveillance state. Why would he build trains?
>>
>>545255138
>build a tens if not hundreds of billions of dollars train line
>it’s still faster and cheaper to fly between these cities

Gee really confusing
>>
>>545255279
Why would he waste 200 millions on a losing bid for a corrupt politician?
>>
>>545255339
You bring the stations to the city centers, it won’t be faster by flight not even close.
It would be a massive investment in the state
>>
>>545255138
Like most of our problems, boomers are the root cause.
>>
Oh boy highspeed rail to shuttle more thieving raping niggers from Houston to the rest of texas and more thieving raping beaners from San antonio to the rest of texas. Oh boy!!!!!!!!
>>

The US population density is lower than any industrialized country on earth

Even China 1.3 billion people live in the 1/3 of the country closest to the ocean in the USA we are spread out across the continent

On top of that most of our cities were built after cars were created so the cities themselves are sprawling and totally inconclusive to rail

So why would we spend trillions of dollars on high speed rail that connects a tiny fraction of the population when it’s faster and cheaper to fly or drive ? (Spoiler you wouldn’t)

The funny thing is we actually do have rail and even high speed rail in the areas dense enough for it ie the northeast, southern Florida and even California is in progress with a line out to Vegas. And we have slow passenger trains to basically every medium to large city in the U.S., nobody uses it it’s slow and it’s expensive

I am a big fan of trains mostly just cause of aesthetics but it’s because we are not dense enough that’s 90% of it

We can fix them. Actually after a second thought I would prolong the blue line straight from Austin to Boca Chica
>>
Why do you think the people that you avidly and publicly hate are going to do the legwork to plan out, fund, and build a railway system for you? It's firmly left/prog coded now. You picked your side.

LONE SAAR STATE can't into trains????
>>
>>545255523
Texas doesn’t fit your definition and I’m talking about super fast with underground stations in the city center close to shops and underground parking lots.
>>
File: IMG_5177.jpg (107 KB, 768x432)
107 KB JPG
>>545255416
That would make it more expensive to buy up the land and right of way or to elevate it or make it underground

Then you get to the city center and you’d still need to rent a car because most American cities have minimal public transit

We are built extremely spread out

Most Americans live like pic related, literally 75% of the country even in NYC 1/5 people drive to work and half the population lives in suburban sprawl, they aren’t just going to walk 14 miles to city center to take the train

trains aren’t a good choice for most of America it’s a big waste of money
>>
>>545255705
>underground
you do it underground of course.
listen, I make it even better for you
since Elon is going to spend his fortune on it we give him some profit perspective

on every city, a large fleet of self driving electric vehicles that will come to pick you up to your place and bring you to the city center or all around the city for real cheap and quick

Yes it does, the “Texas-triangle” could probably do its own network and people are considering it but it’s a long way off

Most of Texas is vast emptiness

There are actually several “high speed rail” projects underway or in planning but they are all local and regional because they will only work in the areas that have enough cities close enough together to make it work.

The USA is too federalized it’s not going to just plop down a train network for trillions of dollars local areas have to build out their train networks and then maybe they can get federal money to help fund connected HSR routes between various regions

Your whole country is the size of Texas and has twice as many people in it
>>
>>545255845
Self driving vehicles make trains less desirable why would I go to a train that goes from one spot to another spot when I can take a robot car anywhere
>>
>>545255930
No federal bullshit, no local bullshit like in your map. Read my post. We are talking about a State-wide train network with a single international connection to Laredo - Monterrey
>>
>>545256030
Because self driving cars are city-wide, of course
>>
>>545255625
>brown people with no shame found out you can demand a wheelchair ride with no proof or reason

Yeah this is what happened with service animals, people found out you could declare any pet a “service” pet and fly with it for free so they had to end that

Now it’s the wheelchair anyone can just demand to be wheeled from the curb to the gate so a bunch of fat assholes take advantage (usually browns)

Shit Texas can't ever in a human lifetime finish road construction on I-10, let alone install rail infrastructure. Ignorant hillbillies there love their diesel jumbo pickup trucks too much to ever get on a train. It's also New India. Texas is a hellcape that needs to be paved over with lava

reason being that you don’t want cars to move from one city to another and a full battery is just enough for one way from two cities. the price would increase by a lot
You need the car service to be real cheap, and at the same time you need to protect it from vandalism, since vandalism is going to be your primary enemy in such an enterprise

>>545256729
Im assuming that Elon will pay the full price for it and he is in Brownsville

I took the train from near Louisiana to the Waco area and holy shit it fucking sucked. Something broke down in Dallas (because I have to go hours west just to go south) and they had to replace it on the tracks. Like the entire actual engine, it the engine car and they used a crane. But, it's still better than the bus. Went from CenTex to Augusta multiple times and it is always just hell. Always a layover in the middle of the night in some niggerville shithole like Jackson Mississippi.

I took your map and annotated anything that is superfluous and shouldn’t be there in a truly high speed bullet network. You can probably keep a direct connection from Houston to Austin but no need to make it stop 4 times on the way

fleet of self driving evs with hive mind and vehicle platooning and using boring company tunnels in dense cities where necessary mogs the fuck out of passenger trains in every metric. (rare cities/routes might need to add self driving ev buses to be fully optimized)
>>
>>545255138
Because the cartels and Mexican mafia own TXDoT and Mexicans only want more highway lanes to drive their stupid 35-yr old Chevy shitboxes in while going 15mph under the speed limit in the passing lane.
>>
>>545255845
>underground
>Texas
Congratulations, your retardation just added billions to the project. Do you know why basements are extremely uncommon in Texas? Because the bedrock throughout the state can be as close as a few feet to the surface.

Tell me, Frog, do you know how far Dallas is from Houston? Do you have any idea how much there is between those two points you'd have to go through? Towns? Farms? Existing industrial railroads still in use? Farm roads with no alternative routes? A fucking National Forest? All along one of the busiest trade and travel corridors in the fucking world?

>>
Texas is a foreign country. It has been white-erased and now has a jeet upper class, mexican working class, and black criminal ghetto class. I would say it's a nightmare but it's essentially the same story everywhere else. Thus, any sort of civil works are pointless. Did Gaul build big civil works while being overrun with Germanics?

>Nobody goes from Houston to Corpus Christi or Brownsville
Perhaps because there's no infrastructure in place to allow that to happen?

Indeed, I’m sure that people from Corpus Christi and Brownville would profit most from a good high speed train line connecting them to the rest of Texas

It's not really the density. It's the dogshit metros once you get there. What's great about Japan is that you can easily get around town from metro rail and busses after you step off the platform.

Transit has to be convenient to be used. Why would I take a train or plane for work in the Triangle if I have to Uber everywhere once I get out.
>>

So plundering the world for oil/gas is the essential of murrica way of life?
>>
>>545261457
I lost my passport, which was my only valid form of ID at the time, on the way to the airport. This was probably in 2020. They still let me on the plane with no valid picture ID (but I had my social, diplomas, my expired ID of the state I was returning to) and it took them maybe twenty minutes. They pulled me to the side and pat me down then sent me ok the way. Feels good being white.
>>
>>545264488
Also some fellow cracka found my passport in a parking lot, contacted my father because I have a nickname, and mailed me my passport. Feels so good.

$150 million per mile of track for a high speed rail. It could be done if we remove welfare 100% and raise taxes to 60%.
