Has democracy ever made a country better than when it started

On, and fuck libtard capitalism.

Democracy is just a word like all the other political words. It doesn’t mean anything unless laws are equally applied. Technically China is a communist nation and yet they are doing capitalism better than anyone else law in the world. Do you see what I mean?
>>
>>545283352
Democracy should just be called liarcracy, because it’s just putting a tiered system of the biggest liars in charge. Democracy is literally the dunning kruger effect, you can only value it if you’re so stupid you think everyone is stupid and there is no answer.
>>
>>545283352
there's not a single system of governance that is infallible. all have loopholes, all have corruption, all degrade with time as more and more self interested people are appointed. this is the cyclical nature of humanity, rise and fall and there's nothing to stop it. like there's life, there's death and empires of all sorts are not immune from their own death either.
>>
>>545283352

democracy would work if people would vote for dictator, hundreds of people in government rarely can agree shit
>>
>>545283759
all of them, before constitutional monarchy that is
as long as there was a king, there was somebody to bear responsibility... even in theory... compared to "democracy" where responsibility gets dissolved in a sea of bureaucracy like a teardrop in rain... so there ain't even a mathematical chance of somebody bearing the responsibility of you getting raped by the state

Freud was right, but was ahead of his time: his critique only came true after the monarchies fell
>>

i agree, government is humanities own adversary. they can't accept the risk of total freedom offers so they delegate their lives to people they don't even know to make rules on how to conduct their lives out of fear. fear drives man to prop up the strong who abuses them under the false delusion of security because they can have their strong men fight other strong men from different tribes.

even if people did come to this realization, it's only a matter of time before a collective comes and forces those in anarchy to be beholden to them or face death. anarchy is a transient phase between governing bodies, nothing more, a cyclical aspect of humanity that has been since written history and likely to persist in far flung future (if there is one).
>>
>>545284228
Ree don’t give in to the inevitability of government. Government is not inevitable, quite the opposite it is unsustainable and anarchy is ever present, anarchy is the opposite of the corruption. Anarchy is jobs, anarchy is food on the shelves, no anarchy would suggest the government is complete and about to collapse. We are the inevitability, they are the ones that parasitize us.

then you would need to an answer on how to overcome a large, organized entity of a foreign government that has a strong military from just running you over. even in shows / movies that depict apocalyptic times, there's always small bandits/gangs that roam and control their little regions, that's still a system of government running because having some authority figure ruling will happen eventually. government is like life, they're born and they die, the phase between them is a spacer for new government to come in, it's just how it is.

>then you would need to an answer on how to overcome a large, organized entity of a foreign government that has a strong military from just running you over
Well I don’t buy that that’s even possible, I don’t believe that these hifalutin militaries that governments have are useful for the task of subduing a population, I think time and time again poor defending guerillas have btfo powerful rich militaries. I also don’t believe that governments can even afford to wage war, every single war going back to the peloponnesian war was an inflationary event, this suggests taxes alone are not enough to wage war, that they must always engage in debauching the currency to do it. We have government at its peak and it’s bullshit. We have nothing to fear, they hold onto us by the skin of their teeth. The US military literally expects to lose if a certain threshold of citizens revolt and they probably overestimate themselves.
>even in shows / movies that depict apocalyptic times, there's always small bandits/gangs that roam and control their little regions, that's still a system of government running because having some authority figure ruling will happen eventually.
And this is propaganda from people who can’t imagine anarchy, like the myth of the wild west being lawless when in fact crime was much worse in the big cities in the east, in an actual apocalyptic scenario you could probably bet on things being a lot more peaceful and civilized.
>>

>Well I don’t buy that that’s even possible, I don’t believe that these hifalutin militaries that governments have are useful for the task of subduing a population,
imperialism, the age of antiquity proved that a centralized force with might behind it does conquer. china was unified under one dynasty, the romans had their own way of conscripting neighboring tribes while allowing for some autonomy, the greeks carving through to india, the mongolians who terrorized eastern and parts of western asia.

>And this is propaganda from people who can’t imagine anarchy, like the myth of the wild west being lawless when in fact crime was much worse in the big cities in the east

the wild west still had to answer to federal government when marshals came to town. while they were isolated, they still had federal government coming in and checking on things every once in a while. if this is what you want, it's more akin to localized libertarianism with bare bones government as the town sheriff and mayor is your leader.
>>
>>545285219
They can't, their power right now is all an illusion. War is very expensive, but you see, ZOG has to rely on mercenaries while a group of freedom fighters is doing it all voluntarily.

Democracy at home and democracy abroad have nothing in common. When a thieving group wants to install one of their own cronies (money laundering, wealth extraction etc.) in a jurisdiction that is outside of their influence, they begin to accuse the legitimate leadership of that nation of all kinds of sins and their NGOs begin to teach the students on the subject of democracy and encourage them to oust their native leadership and democratically vote for a candidate that would help the foreign group to control key political positions which would allow them to plunder the country with nobody to stand in their way to serve them justice. The nations that are selected for the exportation of democracy meet a fatal fate in most cases.
>>
>>545285629
i just did. an international group doesn't need to recognize a system of government to legitimize that is government. even if it's a small town, the lords like in fuedalism is your government masters, in the old west, the town sheriff and mayor are the ones keeping law and order, in tribal life, the chieftain is the leader the governing structure called "chefdom". of course different tribes had different ways they conducted authority but regardless, hierarchy and authority is present. do you even understand what "government" even is?
>>
>>545283352
Only if it was completely fucking lying about everything like the USA
>>
>>545283352
No. “Rule by the people” just opens up a nation to complete fuckery, division, lobbying, corruption, selling out your national interests for personal gain/ideology, since clearly this nation doesn’t have one if it’s adopting democracy. Democracy is basically surrendering your nation to the wind.

Oy, Thomas Sowells problem as well. I think we don’t understand what made Rome great was its revolutionary economic character, that citizenship and a larger free population that had reason to invest in capital production was the innovation that led to its success, and likewise it ultimately fell from inflation rather than a collapse of order.
>the wild west still had to answer to federal government when marshals came to town.
Oh ok so this is the level that you are at, you still believe we need the government to provide the services that it monopolizes. The government doesn’t create law it prevents it, anarchy is not lawlessness it’s unlimited sovereignty, in practice anarchy probably won’t even have crime, the criminal depends on the government more than anyone to enable their behavior through due process.

what? when have i ever claimed government provided a need? so long as you have water, food, air and a means of self defense, you're fine but the argument is that government isn't just a term for large multi-million population nations, they can be small as well and humanity has a tendency to form hierarchies. whether it's a billion population nation, small town isolated from the larger governing body or just a tribe roaming, there's government structure there to delegate authority and power. even before agriculture where man was still nomadic, the chefs in their roaming tribe is the leader, he's the authoritarian ruler that tells the tribe where they must go and delegates task to lower members. this idea that you can exist perpetually without authoritarianism is a fucking meme because humanity will always clump back and form some system of hierarchy that is government, that is what government is, that is what governing is. welcome to reality, time to leave fantasy land, all land is fought over and conquered.

Law and order is just another industry that government has ruined with their involvement, it’s not something they created, your example of the extremely small state organizing from the top down doesn’t prove that government is inevitable at all, even socialism works on the tribal level. The whole point of calling ourselves ancap is that we have accepted you can take that final step and privatize even the police, courts, and codes of law.
