theory of life was so that meteor crashed on Earth 3.3 billion years ago bringing biolomecules that would became bacteria on Earths environmentcomputer says its not possible because molecules would have been destroyed on impacthttps://www.cnn.com/2026/10/31/science/origin-life-theory-comet-simulationthe original theory of life theory from 1961https://www.nature.com/articles/190389a0Earth may have experienced a period of heavy bombardment from more than 100,000 comets with diameter of 330 feet, according to the new study, published Wednesday. Those impacts, however, were mostly too heavy for life-starting molecules to withstand. The team used the latest models of comet formation and evolution to simulate this early planetary period."Given what we know about surface environments on the early Earth, on average, our simulations found that there were no successful impacts," said lead study author Richard Anslow, who conducted the research while completing his doctorate at the Institute of Astronomy of the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom..More precisely, 54% of the simulations showed no impact at all, while the remaining 46% had at least one and a "tiny minority" returned up to three collisions, Anslow said. "We can't rule out confidently that there was never a successful impact — there could have been one of these fluke impacts." However, such flukes had to occur in a "perfect location" that already met several important conditions, including the presence of liquid water and other chemicals needed to support life. That combination makes the overall process unlikely, he added. The article notes his argument that even if a successful impact occurred, it's unlikely an important chemical like hydrogen cyanide (HCN) could survive the impact, and would've dissolved in an ocean impact. Plus, "many other precursor molecules are also needed, such as compounds that contain phosphorus and sulfur, but these are not routinely found in comets, he said."
>>545287277It was not a theory, it was a hypothesis. Actual scientific theories generally have strong evidence and almost never get disproven.

>>545287277Evolution and deep time was always just fake gaytheists lore they made up to try and explain how life began without a God. There's no evidence, it's a turbo cope they do because their deeds are evil

>>545287277That was a tentative hypothesis even when it was proposed. Never did it reach the level of scholarly consensus.Stop conflating sensationalized popsci drivel with the actual position of scientists. It makes you look retarded.
>>545287825>deep timeI wasn't sure what this meant so I looked it up and found this on Wikipedia:>The philosophical concept of geological time was developed in the 18th century by Scottish geologist James Hutton; his "system of the habitable Earth" was a deistic mechanism keeping the world eternally suitable for humans.Attributing it to "gaytheists" is ironic.
is this post worth reading?
