I looked at the whole card house of Anthropic and OpenAI and it doesn't really look good for them. People have started to just use LLMs as tools and this summer Claude Fable was cool, but now it just become a nuissance and too expensive. Claude Opus 5.5. is wrong so often, it is not even funny. So I just went back to doing my job myself and just get some leads from AI or let my work be checked. So my usage has dropped, so I pay 200 bucks a month, not 2000 bucks a month. And I hear it is the same for others in related professions.ChatGPT is so bad, I only pay 20 bucks a month to sometimes double check things, but don't really use anything OpenAI creates, their data they use is just way too bad for a good tool.
the solo consumer functions you're talking about is only a small part of their revenue.the money is in their enterprise APIs.
>>545305621Why are you paying for any AI when free AI exists?
>>545305762I know, the company I work for has 10,000 employees globally. And we do have Claude, but only Opus 5.5. So I used Fable on my own account, but I am stopping because my productivity has gone down and the work product has declined.
>>545305762>Imaginary integrationJust wait until corporate endpoints are ready, kek
>>545305809Mostly time, I do not have time to set stuff up myself.
>>545305952this is anecdotal.
>>545306065Yes but anecdotal information can also correlate with causality to real trends in larger cohorts so simply pointing that out says nothing.
>>545306065Yes, it is annectodal. What is not just an annectode is revenue growth for Anthropic and OpenAI declining sharply and their losses increasing. That is a problem, this is a Googe style “winner takes it all” race, and OpenAI is losing.
>>545306255>checkedIndividual corporate winners and losers will both populate cohorts that are > 1. Meaning there’s likely not to be a single winner. Breakthroughs like AGI, ASI, etc will likely happen simultaneously in multiple companies, similar to frontier model performance
>>545306172>correlate with causality to real trends in larger cohortsbut it's doesn't correlate.>>545306255>revenue growth for Anthropic and OpenAI declining sharplyYes it declined, from stratospheric to very good.Anthropic Q3 growth was 44%, which is still very good.
