In the book, Solitaire is basically a white Haitian that serves as the nigger’s slave. Fleming goes out of his way to specify that she hates the nigger, is a virgin and that the nigger plans on marrying her. She asks for Bond’s help and runs away with him almost as soon as she meets him. The movie version definitely removed some of those details and had him fuck some sheboon with an afro, which isn’t in the book. I’m not a huge fan of the movie version of LaLD, even if it’s still slightly more redpilled than anything you’d see today, what with it having a cast of entirely nigger villains and a chad white man rescuing a beautiful white woman. People really should read the books, Fleming is underrated as a writer. His stories are the right balance between pulpy and well paced, while still having some depth to them.
