The chinese bond market is completely collapsing, yields are at their lowest level in almost 20 years. China is finished, done for.

troll thread, bond yields are inversely related to the health of the economy. US bonds are basically at all time highs considering the debt load, and only recently started decreasing because the AI bubble is popping so jews are rotating out of stocks and into bonds temporarily.
Chinese bonds going lower means demand is increasing.

Getting too low points to a Japan situation, which would be fine if China have moved to being a middle income nation but they are still decently poor (on a PPP basis they are at 31k which is below Serbia, in nominal terms they are still only at like 15k which puts them just barely above world average). Of course Japan had negative rates for a majority of its time at flat growth so China still has plenty of room to fall.

I think the difference is that rising US bond yields are bad because it signals uncertainty about the currency (people are worried the dollar is going to inflate so you need to pay them more to buy US debt), but falling Chinese yields are bad because it represents everyone trying to pile into CN bonds because there's a dearth of things to invest in in the private economy (so the government doesn't have to pay them much at all to get people to buy it). Or so I half-remember from when I asked skynet about this

This, everyone is willing to finance China, and nobody is willing to finance america or the EU anymore except at huge premiums.
This is what a ascendant empire looks like, financially. And the US is what the end of empire looks like.

The point of having a market is that it adjusts to demand for things. This is an obvious nothingburger.
