I worked in a small chemical plant
half of our ingredients were imported from Chyna
half the remainder, was sold to us by Australian companies who importanted it from Chyna (sometimes they don't even take the chinese labels off, they just stick another one on top)
The rest comes from other countries, mostly Germany and India

the EU's and the UKs issue in chemicals is down to Gas Prices.the UKs entire chemical industry is almost collapsing because the price of gas needed to make chemicals makes it all unprofitable or unsustainable. it has destroyed long term investment plans because if you crunch the numbers then long term investments are not going to break even. so they started importing things needed to make other things instead of making it all here, but then Belgian chemicals because too expensive to import.
NordStream being blown up was the end of european chemical industry. the chink stuff is just rewriting history for cope and propaganda.
