You will be fired, code monkeys. You will be homeless and broke. Not so smug anymore? "Learn to code", lol.
>>
I literally have no idea how to use AI to make real things. How do you store your past commands to it? What happens if you lose past commands/scripts/whatever? How do you tell AI to do something that you don't know how to do already?

Couldn't be me

what do you mean?
why store those prompts? blizzard didn't record the exact salary/workpace/caffeine levels that produced diablo 2 and warcraft 3

Failed miserably. This will fail too. Keep seething.

Bro I'm a painter decorator. Leave me out of this AI shit, just let me paint some walls and get paid for it. Its chill, get to listen to my audiobook all day just painting away.

>hours now take minutes
i agree with him on this. i was working on two projects at the weekend and did a months worth of work in 3 sessions of openai tokens. and also spend 3 hours fixing a problem in another project which would have lost me a day or two trying to fix if i couldn't prompt the result.
but it isn't enjoyable. it's like being a manager in an office just getting phone calls and making decisions. do this, do that, ok let me see it, ok, now do this.
the process is shit, but the output is good.

To answer the other anon, yes, you must be. You can just ask the AI how to do something or compare solutions from precedent. If you're doing something new you just discuss it.
Storing past commands, you just tell it to write down what it should remember. They mostly do this automatically already.

AI is literally porting Super Mario 64 over to the Sega 32X right now. All coders are fucked. Noobs will do all your work.

As AI use grows companies are trying to do more. Anon is right that learning to code now is shit tier. The real question is when does the growth curve fall behind drastically.

Thankfully the saving grace is who the fuck is gonna trust some offshore with 2k in credits per month. Also offshore contracts are now much more expensive.

The job as a whole will slowly become what IT has become, 25 years ago you could get a comfy office job just knowing how a computer worked. Different world now. Maybe another 5 years left so hope you guys are saving a shit ton

That's fine, I'll just fake a disability and go on welfare for the rest of my life.

That just means you can be replaced with 1/10th of the resources you are consuming. That's all. 10 of office drones like you can be consolidated into 1.

All these grifters are a) lying and b) if it were really like this then he would also be worthless and penniless, anyone, literally anyone with a credit card can spin up the same shit he does which ultimately means the only difference between giga vibe coded product a and giga vibe coded product b is the number of tokens spent and the name.

>the only difference between
That's where everything is heading. One giant USSR meaning no variety of goods ("goods" means pretty much anything, from art to ass wipes).
After all, how many types of TP does anyone need to be able to choose from, eh?
Or types of cars. Or types of books. Or types of tunes. Individuality is for fags!

Can tell at work who does work and who vibe codes based on productivity. The 100% vibe coders productivity drops to almost nothing around the middle of the month when their tokens runs out and its falls for the rest based on how much they've off loading their work to AI till the guys who use it to just building crud boiler plate, dont touch 90% of their tokens and still hand code are the only ones being productive at the end of the month. It's kind of all evens out that they put out the same amount of code, manager of course isn't happy because of the guys who vibe code aren't putting out multiples of the guys who hand code.

Anyone that says they replaced an employee with 'AI' is a bot.
AI can't code.
AI can't lift.
AI can't build a house.
AI can't drive.

Then go do it, start a busniess knowing you can fully automate work. This guy runs a business and is creating efficiencies using AI. What are you doing with it?

>>545369145
If only AI could create personalized service for you.
>>
These AI companies are operating at losses and are trying to lure people in and get them hooked before wildly jacking up the prices and making more "tiers" for different features. Code monkeys probably just have to survive until Trump is gone.
>>
>>545365078
just two more weeks
>>
The people who told you to learn to code weren't belittling you, they were giving you valid life advice that was applicable back then but isn't anymore. The people who have jobs in software programming are human beings, and you should not delight in anyone losing their means of living.
