The Big Beautiful Bill changed a customs rule to stop small quantities of personal prescription drugs Drugs will triple or quadruple in price for a lot of people because of this. Pharma lobbying money at work.

Old people vote for Democrats who destroyed the health care system then run to Canada for cheaper drugs.
Fuck them
>>
>>545376517
Americans need to subsidize big pharma so they can continue making drugs cheap for the rest of the world it's only fair
>>
>>545376517
because of Trump we have our own cheap American drugs.
>>
>>545376517
>this is still a thing
I remember my depressed uncle setting up a shop that facilitated this very thing 25 years ago. Goes to show that an industry run by kikes can't be reformed
>>
>>545376517
Finally, the Boomers are getting fucked over by Trump and getting what they voted for.
>>
>>545376672
No, that site extremely limited. Trump is objectively an evil, corrupt piece of shit who is bought out by big pharma. He's cutting off people's drugs, doubling ACA premiums to make sure millions lose insurance, and the only time he does anything about the brown infestation is when Israel is threatened some dipshit college student protesting (and those cases all get shot down in court anyway because Trump's lawyers are totally stupid and incompetent). Rs are getting savaged in midterms, and a D will win in 2028. All because Trump is such an utter fucking piece of evil kike shit.

The average person shouldn't really be taking take any medications on a regular basis. Maybe some antibiotics once in a blue moon. A tetanus shot every ten years. That's about it.
>>
>>545376667
Republicans are in the pocket of big insurance companies and big pharma, you utter fucktard. They maintain the status quo because they're getting paid to maintain it.
>>
>>545376517
>The free-market solves everythi--
> whoah hold up, they're charging so little we can't rip consumers off!
> fucking commies! REAL Americans pay x10 times the price and then use healthcare as a status symbol
>>
>>545376517
Good. TBD
>>
>>545377124
Even certain antibiotics are 3x cheaper through Canada, retard. And a lot of people are on critical drugs allowing them to stay alive. If you disregard this, you deserve to have your party out of power forever

Every time I come back to /pol/, I'm reminded of how stupid and evil you all are. I have nothing in common with you other than I oppose browns, but when I have to choose having reasonably priced health insurance and lifesaving drugs for my kids available or a president who talks about deportations (but doesn't even do them), there's no question how I'm voting.
>>
>>545377284
This is the median Republican voter thought process.

>>545377413
Lay it out in detail. Do you work for a pharmaceutical company? Who is this "good" for?
>>
>>545376517
fucking good
our free healthcare is not for the americans
pay fuckers

America has taken a "fencesitter" position in terms of economic policy. It's not regulated enough to stop companies from legally scamming you and give you rights, yet it's regulated enough where any Joe Blow who wants to start their own business essentially either fails right away or never even manages to pay for the fees and licenses and shit to start a business
>>
>>545377110
>t. mad weakling who needs his precious drugs
Kill yourself, prozac zombie
>>
>>545376517
Sweet. Burgers shouldn't be allowed to get our cheaper meds. They're human cattle that need to pay 10 or 20x what it's worth so that we can pay a quarter. Fuck 'em. Most burgers don't even like being alive.
>>
>>545377197
>Republicans are in the pocket of big insurance companies and big pharma
They all flipped to Democrats after Obamacare which funneled money to them. Who the fuck do you think is going to cash out the most on government subsidies? They also donate a ton to Bernie Sanders specifically, because he would basically guarantee a paycheck that never ends.
>>
I'm gen x. If you need drugs to live you're fucked. A lot of "life saving" drugs are substitutes for a good diet and regular exercise. I think processed food pyramids and insanity like crossfit are pushed to intentionally harm people. Accept your fate and die already. Cheap drugs won't save you from bad life choices.

Not my problem. I can walk to Naco, Sonora and get drugs without a prescription, then walk back to the US. Best part is getting catcalled by horny Mexican women but fear not, I am not tempted by brown beasts.

how is that still a thing after the simpsons 20 years ago?

Antibiotics are not super expensive though. I mean no one is going broke buying a run of antibiotics once every year or so lmfao.

Have you ever considered that having a society full of sick unhealthy people is in fact the primary root cause of these problems? It is almost as if having a ridiculous society where healthcare is the central employment and political economic concern is a very problematic thing? Does it just wash over you how insane that is? If more people are employed in healthcare than any other employment you are living in a sickly unacceptable society. If the majority of people pick up prescriptions every week as part of normal activity, you are living in a sick untenable situation. Medical treatments and technology are expensive because the machines and treatments used for them are basically space age technology. The issue isnt the cost it is that 1/3 people needs them in any given year kek. What numbers game could you possible play to make that sheer amount of necessary resources tenable?

This isnt complicated you donut- you can shuffle the numbers around all you want, you can come up with government programs... insurance premiums, tax dollars etc. At the end of the day you are just treating symptoms and the underlying cause is that you are physically and mentally sick people. Something about your lifestyles has to change so that this insane medical-centric lifestyle is no longer an albatross around the necks of healthy people hoping to live in a normal society.

Good. I pray every single one of these subhuman boomers dies painfully. Each democrat is a subhuman race traitor that deserves to have its throat slit from ear to ear.
>>
>>545378665
Obamacare didn't fix shit, m8
>>
>>545379415
>live in a society where vast swathes of the population are sickly and need space-age tier treatments on any given year.
>try to shuffle the numbers around to make it magically not be a problem for everyone.

People have argued for 20 years about "healthcare" and havent actually addressed healthcare once. All they did was discuss insurance for like 20 years.

Audit the hospitals, clinics, treatment facilities to make sure reasonable proces are being billed. Then try to fix the underlying elephant in the room: a sickly society. It doesn't matter if you have NHS, Obamacare, private insurance... as long as a huge number of people are needing space age treatments every year none of it will ever actually work.
>>
>>545378171
No... we have to enter a spiral of spending massive amounts of resources pioneering and financing space age treatments to keep people from reckoning with their bad choices. Since people have the safety net they continue to make bad choices. Then we have to pioneer more treatments and spend even more momey to address the problems as the medical industry becomes and ever larger % of our debt and workforce.

It is all clearly necessary.

>Antibiotics are not super expensive though

Big Pharma would like them to be. Reminder that pharmaceutical companies decided to create an alternative coating for aspirin that costs them $0.01 per pill to produce and coat, that somehow turned a 6 dollar bottle of aspirin into a 70 dollar bottle because it is, technically, a "new formula" that is no longer beholden to laws meant to keep the price down.
>>
>>545380086
>Bad choices

The overwhelming majority of hospital cases and prescriptions are just "this nigger is old". If we just let old people die the problem would solve itself overnight.
>>
>>545380395
To use the lingo of the medically obsessed sickly society we live in- think of this as "triage" of problems.

>Pharma milking a sickly (physically and mentally) society with all manner of space age and novel chemical means.
Vs.
>The society being sickly in the first place and accepting it as normal.
Which do you find to be the higher priority issue?

Again, if the price of lets say doxycycline tripled this year and I had to buy a run of it every two years or so... it wouldnt make much difference to me.
>>
Oh no! Not the boomer’s drugs!
Where do you think you are? No one gives a shit.
This only affects people ordering from online pharmacies outside of the US, and you couldn’t do that with Medicaid/Medicare already. Trump already established “most favored nation” pricing for many medications. Go to TrumpRx.gov
