I'm thinking of doing a traineeship to become an electrician. Good idea? Atleast that won't get replaced by AI. I'm currently still employed as a software engineer, but who knows for how much longer.

For example they will think they can just fire people and replace with 1 jeet with tokens for years....What I've been seeing/hearing more and more is that businesses are spending all this money to move shit to AI without understanding any of the code. SOOOOO what happens is no one at the business knows the code and it's an absolute nightmare because then you have unskilled people playing "developer" with AI.It's guaranteed money you just have to place yourself properly.

I'm a software engineer and I haven't felt impacted one bit by AI. I don't think it's good enough for anything that has legally binding consequences if it fucks up.
