Polling in Florida, Lousiana and Nebraska is also decent for Dems. The odds of 60 dem seats is starting to feel.... not impossible. (60 seats means they can ignore a filibuster if everyone votes) If Dems somehow managed to hit 60 members it'd be the first time either party had a fillibuster proof majority since 1978, 58 is the number to match for the highest since then which happened a few times most recently under Obama.
>>
>>545408182
I can't see a situation where they take those 3 but not NC, the Republicans gave up on keeping NC back in early October when they gave up on flipping the Georgia seat.

Dems take the house by 5-10 seats and Reps keep the senate 51 or 52.

We have seen this game before where people believe what will happen and this big surprise comes with Trump and the result become the opposite.

I dont believe Democrats will take both House and Senate.
Polls have shown this happen before.
My guess is that Democrats will take the House, but Republicans will take the Senate.

Just wait and see. Democrats wont take both.
The midterms this year is massive marketing and brainwash making burgers think on both sides that this is the biggest thing ever and at the end of the day its a nothingburger.
Its irrelevant if Democrats took both House and Senate since they wont be able to do shit except small things that wont affect anything.
Things will not get cheaper or better or whatever. They are still serving the same people, just different way of talking.

Republicans wont take both, and Democrats wont take both. Its going to be what I say.

>>
>>545410251
The tides have changed. You aren’t in the states right wingers are falling apart. No one wants wars and the cost of living is too high. Texas is the start
>>
>>545410171
Doubt it. I am a realist, not a dreamer or someone who swallows left or right wing media. I am not even in the middle. The reason why people think its a 110% certainty that Democrats will win this whole thing by a mile is because of branding and marketing. It works every time for most people, and most times people are wrong.
>>
>>545410171
Reps are majority e-day voters. Just looking at the vote numbers and even if turnout is low for Reps, based on previous years Reps still take the senate and the house narrowly goes to the Dems. Can't wait for Hasan's conniption fit when his blue wave turns into a blue trickle. The end of USAID killed dems, even their pozzed protests are low energy.

KS will send a democrat to the senate. I know a couple of guys from work who went to the trump rally here a couple weeks ago, like they took the day off and stood in line. I asked them what they think about Roger Marshall and they said: "Who?" To be fair though these guys are pretty retarded.
>>
>>545410251
>My biggest mindblow so far has been how blue Texas has been
It shouldn't be that surprising. Cornyn was pretty well liked. MAGA voters would come home for him, and some centrist Democrats would vote for him too.

Paxton has never been especially popular before he went full Trump sycophant, which is not beneficial in 2026. He always won by some of the lowest margins for Republicans that won state level offices, significantly underperformed Abbott. This was before the impeachment where the evidence was pretty damning, even if he was ultimately not removed. There is a large swathe of the TX GOP that wants Ken Paxton to fuck off and die.

Then, not only did he run the lazy campaign he always does; but making himself the MAGA guy is a really bad gamble because of the Iran War primarily. There's also a large portion of the electorate that thinks he screwed Cornyn by brownnosing for the endorsement, and will not vote for him. Cornyn hasn't endorsed him, which is typical of primary losers; several Bushes have actively supported Talarico or excluded Paxton from fundraising. Republican State Senators and State Supreme Court justices are writing op-eds about why he sucks or endorsing Talarico.

I understand that this is very local, but Ken Paxton is perhaps the most hated Republican by Republicans in Texas.
>>
Not sure on Texas, mexicants are very dumb and Paxton is horrible. But worst case 50/50 jd comes in a throws his sack around. Even down to 49 fetterman will crack on a few important things. How soon thomas and alito are willing to go is all that's up in the air for me
>>
>>545410375
Again, this is only what polls show. Polls can be right but saying this is what will happen is something else. That a lot of people are tired of the right and Trump I fully understand. But anyone who think that cost of living and no more wars will happen regardless of who is in office are pretty clueless. It wont change anything. Nothing will get cheaper over there. Prices increase all over the world and no matter how much people fight over this it wont become cheaper. People want more, and demand more, and therfore prices go up.
I wish for burgers for housing and cheaper food and all of that, but it wont become cheaper just because Democrats or Republicans are in office or control House or Senate.

And no, I dont care about what is written online. I live in the real world, and I am old enough to know that Americans tend to swallow what they are being fed.

Americans are some of the easiest people in the world.
The right wing voters in the US only need to meet someone that shows up in a suit and a Lamborghini and promise them gold and a wealthy future to get their votes.
And for the left you just need to tell everything is going to become free and that a house can cost $50k in an enviromen with birds and fresh air. Its not complicated.
As a matter of fact people dont even need to live or have been in the US to understand this.

Turning blue: OH, KS, NC, TX. Its going to be so bad for Republitards. Many are in straight denial and have no idea what's about to happen. Predictably all the neo-cons, Zionists, and FoxJews talking heads (redundant, i know) will blame ppl like Tucker Carlson for "splitting the base". Of course they're delusional and unable to see that ppl didn't elect Trump to do Israel's bidding and make everyone in this country more broke and miserable.
Of course its all a joke and its sad that we've come to the point where we have to vote for Muslims to try to get out from under the thumbs of Zionists. Basically we're done for. If Zionists win then we just continue down the same path of white genocide and socialism. If Muslims win we will get sharia law eventually. That is not even to mention the jeet menace that is rising here. Vivek is going to lose btw. And I just hope Lindsey Grahams sister loses cause who the fuck is she? Is this like a monarchy or something where the next of kin takes over when someone dies? Those dumbfucks will probably vote her in though.

Only congress can give monies out. The irony of course is the gov has no money and take monies from the public. So really "giving" $5k to the public is simply giving the money they took back but only $5k back. It's like a tax refund. Of course it won't happen, Trump saying it means nothing because the executive has zero control over the money - only congress can do it.

>>
>>545411548
I am only answering you because its funny to actually talk to someone who is full of rage and anger and try so hard to pretend to be smart. God bless you boy lol. You sure dont know how pricing works. Thats for sure. Monopoly is just a fraction of a fraction for the reason for prices.
Monopolies are only one of several reasons prices increase in the US. They can contribute significantly to higher prices, but inflation is caused by a combination of economic forces.
When demand increases faster than supply, prices tend to rise. Companies may raise prices because their expenses increase. Government decisions affect prices. Then you have monetary policy matters. Then you have everything that is beyond the borders of a country.
So blaming all American inflation on monopolies is as incorrect as it can be.

I know you're a leaf, but the current environment in Texas is as good as it will ever get for flipping. This is because Ken Paxton is a uniquely awful candidate, and we're also seeing a political awakening of hispanics (which Texas has a significant portion of).

Retards are still going by the polls and betting markets, when all they’ve done this year is massively over-represent the Democrats. Nobody wants to pay attention to the early voting numbers because the Democrats early voting numbers are less than the midterms when Joe Biden was president, which should not be the case. The Republicans are winning in early voting places they shouldn’t be and the Dem turnout is depressed, probably because a lot of their candidates are eternally, online freak shows and that doesn’t sell to the broader public. If the Republicans turn out like they typically do on election day, the best the Dem’s can hope for is flipping the house by 1-2 and then the online addicted will riot.

Its hard to tell right now:

https://abc13.com/story/early-voting-is-heres-what-numbers-can-tell-before-tuesday-cant/20006346/
Basically, what I'm seeing is that voting numbers are in mass turnout territory. We've seen more turnout than 2018 midterms (the last largest turnout). We're seeing county turnout at much higher levels across the board, both in red and blue counties.
>The surge is everywhere, not in one kind of neighborhood. We matched the county's early-vote rosters to the precinct-by-precinct results from 2022 and 2024, and the pattern is boring in the best way. In the neighborhoods that voted hardest for Ted Cruz in 2024, early voters alone already equal about two-thirds of everything those precincts cast in a presidential year. In the neighborhoods that voted hardest for Colin Allred, it's a little over 70%. Everyone else lands in between. Measured against the last midterm, the bluest precincts have already passed their entire 2022 turnout. The reddest aren't far behind.

$6 a gallon is not expensive. Its just that you are used to cheap gas. The average US gas price today is $4.17. Guatemala and Liberia has gas more expensive than you. You are in average $2 lower than Moldova. The poorest country in all of Europe.
So considering incomes in the US and gas prices, you are extremely lucky over there even if it cost $6. Its cheap.
What is expensive in the US is housing. The rest is actually pretty damn cheap no matter what it is. Its just that the US is used to extreme consuming.
