Physical effort was more relevant when the yokes were mechanical and your physical force turned into actual movement of the control surfaces. Hydraulic controls only require a little force to get full range of motion.

>>545423091From what I understand, all business jets are simply extremely vulnerable to icing and storm conditions by design, so the actual mistake here is probably not having enough safety margins and allowing themselves to get too close to one. One way that happens if there is a rich guy being ferried around who's making demands, another way is if the operating company has too lax safety culture.
