Would you have been able to save the Jet?
Israel did it.
>>545467031I wouldn't have flown directly into a storm like the dumb moid pilot
>>545467221Bitch, you just learned that you arent supposed to fly directly into a storm just yesterday. Shut up.
>>545467031Yes, just as I would have saved this one
>>545467468Both she and the pilot should have been aware of itWhy the fuck either of them thought it was a good idea is beyond me, likely the client badgering them to get there faster
>>545467031pull the fucking handbrake and extend the parachute just a few seconds before hitting the ground and then eject, not much else you can you.
>>545467031A tail stabilizer would have helped.
>>545468191DEI and H1B ground mechanics probably saw the thing was hanging on by one bolt but figured it was ok.
>>545468310>implying they ever even climbed up to look before signing off on it's conditionkek'd at this
>>545467031>save the Jet?Why did no one run over and cat shit?
>>545467031All they had to do was go around the severe weather against what Miami told them
>>545467031Anon, is that the ghost of kiev?
>>545467031I wouldn’t have flown into icing conditions at 37,000 feet. I also would’ve checked airmets and sigmets, and read the weather briefing on foreflight. Or even called a flight service station and asked them “hey, what’s it like up there at 37,000 feet?”. The guy, or lady (it’s usually a guy that sounds bored) probably would’ve said “yeah it looks shitty, I wouldn’t do it.” I also would’ve used the de-icing equipment if I was dumb enough to actually do it.
>>545468191The plane flew halfway across the country just fine. They hit mach 1, well beyond the design limits of the airframe. Thats what tore it off on descent.Retard.
>>545470350she was talking to air control where they are flying tho
>>545470350Do you think that if they had flown flat instead of trying to climb that they could have lived?
>>545470650Air traffic control doesn’t tell them the weather dude. ATC manages traffic. You get a weather briefing before you leave. In their defense it’s not always right and you don’t always know you’re flying in icing, but there are indicators.
>>545470662I don’t know all the details, all I know is they flew into icing conditions. It happens but there’s a lot of things you should do to prevent that from happening. Sometimes you do everything right and you end up in it. Regarding climbing, idk it depends on where the icing is coming from. Sometimes it’s better to climb to get out of it. Sometimes icing conditions will persist to low flight levels.
>>545471152yes it does tell them about hazardous weather + direction and speed of the wind prior to landing>Yes, Air Traffic Control (ATC) actively tells pilots about the weather, but how and when they do it depends on the severity of the weather and how busy the controller is. Under aviation rules (such as FAA orders), controllers are legally mandated to pass along certain safety-critical weather details, while general weather tracking is automated.also>Convective Storm Development Under Scrutiny in Fatal Learjet 60 Crash in Florida>Rapidly Developing Thunderstorm Under Investigation: A convective storm reportedly intensified rapidly, with estimated storm-top altitude rising from nearly 33,000 feet to approximately 48,300 feet in just 20 minutes.>Aircraft Operating at High Altitude: The Learjet 60, registered N722BD, was reportedly cruising near FL350 (35,000 feet), placing it within the vertical range of the developing storm.>The Aviation Weather Center had issued forecasts indicating a broad region of moderate or greater icing, but projections estimated the top of the icing layer would max out around 24,000 feet.
>>545467031these jets are designed to recover out of such steep dives (as well as do them)they could even break the descent by flying away from it upside-downlearjets are fragile pencil sticks with rear-end thrust, with comparatively tiny wing surfaces per se, and even tinier control surfacesits not designed to do or break away such descentsthe modus operandi is to never get into such situations
>>545467031It's okay. The IDF can kill as many Americans as it wants as long as they keep the tapes secret
>>545470467How do you know it tore off during descent and not before?
>>545472864trump's AA shot them down in the middle of storm cloud
>>545467031I have zero experience driving aircrafts so probably not.
>>545472864NTSB confirmed they found some part of the tail wing 1.5-3.5 miles away from impact siteit broke off, whether it caused the descent or happened during is still a matter of investigationsorry to all anons i insinuated not knowing anything about video compressionits an honest mistake to make, the NTSB itself seemed ambivalent until they confirmed location of pieces of the tail far away from impactits unlikely those specific parts got launched away that far, i would guessbut if some debris gets launched, its most probably the last to be at the crash site (ie a planes rear-end), getting shockwaved away from all the shit already starting to explode underneath it, which impaced split-seconds earlier
>>545467031I often crash my plane in Warthunder just trying to score a kill and forgetting where the ground is.
>>545467031Nah cuz this would happen cuhhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AReXowtG2-c
>>545472208Chat gpt tell you all that? It’s hard to argue with that because you literally just asked an ai “does ATC tell pilots weather?” Firstly, there’s ATC, ARTCC, and Flight Service Station. The people directing traffic at altitude are not responsible for weather. They are supposed to pass important information to the pilots at their convenience like the ai said, but that’s not their job. They can’t see what the pilots in the plane see and vice versa. Secondly, we’re talking about a storm and icing conditions, not ground conditions that come from an ASO or AWOS on the field. The pilots are generally the ones that report icing conditions, it’s called a pirep. They tell the flight service station, then they pass it on to the controller. But yes, they would tell the controller but that’s not an official report. They would said some like “we suspect that we are in icing conditions, requesting to climb to FL45000” just because they were talking does not mean the controller even knew they were in icing.
>>5454681911. No debris at crash site.2. The "dashcam" recording that speed would require terabytes of data. Which we dont use.
