Everything is crowded and more expensive and now there are more jeets and beaners than ever. Cornyn is a literal democrat and his latest accomplishment is gun legislation. Paxton is an auraless creep with a lazy eye. None of them campaigned. The entire strategy was calling Talarico gay. Abbott and Dan Patrick didn't campaign at all and Cornyn campaigned against Paxton. All of that misses how they've had continuous fuckups for the past few years. They've failed to bring property taxes under control. Anything they pass at the state level is immediately recouped by the county, so they come across as retarded liars when they say they lowered property taxes. They've done a bad job cutting spending, this is especially worse when property taxes go up to fund a state of the art sports complex for a school district that's underperforming. They let the ag industry dog walk them on illegal migrants and water usage. And they have the same problem that the GOP has everywhere else where they don't actually represent their voter base. If this wasn't a Trump induced catastrophe Abbott and Patrick might have scraped by. But this is totally unsurprising. There's also the complete and total demographic replacement of white Texans. It's a little more complicated; I'm not going to parrot the "natural conservative beaner" lie, but well established Tejano types didn't swing left because of ICE.
