Basically the Democrats just have to advance objectively popular motions knowing Trump will veto them and look like a toilet made of shit for the next two years.
>>
veto?
just impeach and remove
they have the votes
>>
>>545534983
Not in the senate they don't.
>>
>>545535090
They might if republicans decide that they need to cut trump loose if they have any hope of saving the party. This result is 100% because of how personally unpopular trump is, they have basically nothing to lose turning on him now
>>
>>545535090
Are all the Rep Senators still 100% Trump? Or will they panic when they see they might be kicked out of office in 28?

>have to advance objectively popular motions
so the policies Trump wants?
great idea Peabrain
>>
>>545535090
Literally have a majority even accounting for Fetterjew, anon
>>
>>545536545
You need a 2/3 majority in senate to convict on impeachment
>>
>>545536609
Yes I know, so majority is first hurdle, then you only need twenty or so turncoats from a party that has zero control on congress anywhere
Easy conviction
>>
>>545536609
They’ll get it. They’ll get right after the Hollidays. 3 months tops.
>>
>>545534902
Reach across the isle or lose 2028. Your choice.
>>
>>545536879
They actually will only need 10 or 11 GOP votes. A stretch but not totally impossible. This election has been so apocalyptic for the GOP it might change priorities
>>
>>545536009
They never were.
>>
>>545536225
>so the policies Trump wants?
MAGA just got crucified because Trump told America that record high housing and gas prices were a good thing
>>
>>545536994
The MAGA cult is dead and Trump is so politically radioactive at this point that they can easily find 10+ senators who will flip on him to avoid getting nuked themselves next round
>>
>>545536961
ai superintelligence will have reshaped the world by then
>>
>>545537323
I mean Texas went solid blue, nothing is unbelievable any more
>>
There is no winning for trump here. He either passes their shit which will lead inevitably to higher taxes and infinity browns which they will blame on him or he doesn't pass them and their fantasy ignores the problems it would cause, blaming him for not giving them free shit. He's essentially over.

Removing a president is a huge deal. The Democrats would need about a dozen Republican senators to vote to remove Trump (give or take a few), so about a quarter of them. This isn't like a vote of no confidence for a Prime Minister. Nixon resigned rather than be removed by the Senate but doubt Trump would have enough introspection for that.
The only way I can see it happening is if they declare him mentally incapacitated, which requires the same number of votes as conviction after impeachment but politically is easier to deal with the fallout. He needs to have a couple of very public Biden type moments for them to be able to justify using the 25th amendment to remove him.
>>
>>545534983
Can you fucking foreigners stop chiming in when you havent bothered to learn how the shit works
>>
>>545536961
They won't even need that many to be in veto override territory, so if they stick to shit people actually want and are willing to let some Republicans take a moment to look like they care it can work out.
They won't though since that could make a few new big names for the Republicans and neither party gives enough of a shit about people to do something positive if it could make their own circlejerk not look special.

>objectively popular motions
then why would trump veto it
you know damn well everything will have antiwhite shit in it
>>
>>545537701
I don't even know why they care so much about some other countries politics to this degree. Every fuckin day. It's weird.
