That said, it's not even a popular position in Japan currently (among youth or older.) At least, not in the way that Westerners perceive 'Nationalism.' Relax. Japan's ongoing political process will be relatively slow but they have better chances of success than most everyone else. Current admin will be kicked out relatively quickly, and I would expect 2-3 more quickly removed leaders/regimes until the message gets through.
