Those men could easily hand the state back to Republicans, if they had a reason to. Dems will have to work to keep Texas blue. I have no doubt they'll fuck it up. The pissed off male voters will expect some changes. If they don't get them, they'll put the Republicans back in power now that those Republicans will be desperate to court them.
Honestly think this has more to do with state politics than national politics. All those assuming that this automatically translates to a solid blue electoral vote are setting themselves up for disappointment I think. Texas is in play more than it has been in years, but it's not any more California today than it was yesterday.
