Romans 13:1-7 is clear. If you're a Christian, then you owe your blind and unquestioning obedience and allegiance to the state, because God Himself put it there. If you rebel against the state, you are rebelling against God, and what greater sin could there be than that? Remember your Christian duty to obey the state, remember that God has commanded you obey, always.
13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

>>545633434Seriously at what fucking moment it make sense to follow the personne that have killed Jesus and à lot of prophète before him.I don't think Sodom and Gomorrah where the wild of god and that following there way is not really what I'd call following the right path.

Christians don't matter until they're genociding leftists and browns and stripping women of rights.Won't do it? Then you will never matter. The modern man wants results not milksop cope.Remember, the western world's current state and the people's abandonment of you for any ideology that can get result is ENTIRELY your fault.
>>545635316>my falseMore like. My pleasure.
>>545632904>Remember your Christian duty to obey the stateretarded takeChristian anarchism is a school of political theology that claims anarchism is inherent in Christianity and the Gospels. It is grounded in the belief that there is only one source of authority to which Christians are ultimately answerable—the authority of God as embodied in the teachings of Jesus. It therefore rejects the idea that human governments have ultimate authority over human societies. > Christian anarchists denounce the state, believing it is violent, deceitful and idolatrous.
>>545632904>If you're a Christian, then you owe your blind and unquestioning obedience and allegiance to the stateThis is not a valid interpretation of Paul's writings in the context of the rest of the Bible. To start off, Paul's letters may be considered divinely inspired, but that does not mean Paul is speaking *for* God here. This is not a rule put in place by God. This is an opinion of someone who saw God once and devoted himself to God. Beyond this, you need to remember what Christ has said about allegiances. You can't serve two masters, so God has to be your only master. Also, you have two rules that summarize every law God has ever written: love God, and love neighbor. All that stuff about idolatry? Love God. Don't go putting anything else higher up on your priorities list to the point where you're treating it like God. That especially includes the state. With that all said, if the state isn't preventing you from following God's commands, you should obey the state to the best of your ability. Paul might be exaggerating a bit to suggest that all the Earthly authorities are established by God. Evidence shows that some of them are, quite frankly, evil. But in dedicating one's energy towards fighting the state, you may be turning your back on priorities #1 (God) and #2 (neighbor), or preventing yourself from prioritizing them in the future (oops, you're in prison). Basically, detach yourself from the earthly bullshit, go with the flow, and help people where you can.
>>545635289No they didnt
The gospels tell of Jesus's temptation in the desert. For the final temptation, Jesus is taken up to a high mountain by Satan and told that if he bows down to Satan he will give him all the kingdoms of the world. Christian anarchists use this as evidence that all Earthly kingdoms and governments are ruled by Satan, otherwise they would not be Satan's to give.Christian eschatology and various Christian anarchists, such as Jacques Ellul, have identified the state and political power as the Beast in the Book of Revelation.

>>545636891>and also jesus was godThen he was God in the OT too
>>545636891At what fucking moment Jesus call himself GOD?
>>545636806The context for understanding how Paul's works are "divinely inspired" is the Book of Acts. Basically, he was a pharisee who persecuted Christians, then saw a vision of Jesus and flipped everything in his life around. There are no claims to him having any further prophetic or mystical visions within the New Testament, so what you are reading in Romans, Galatians, Corinthians, etc... is his scholarly opinion, not a direct commandment from God. Granted, some of his writings contain genuinely well-constructed arguments, but they are not Gospel.
As usual paul directly contradicts the gospel, wherein satan directly admits to owning all states. Submitting to the state is submitting to satan. The only governing authority you should recognize is the kingdom of god.Biblical infallibility is a satanic doctrine.
>>545637046Basically this. The letters are full of so much shit from an imperfect man raised as a roman jew. I do believe he was eventually saved and taken up, but that was way after the letters were written.
>>545637149>1 Samuel 8We where even warn about this gouvernement bullshit, but has always people didn't lisent and call it God will.
>>545635289>deus vult flag coping for his lifeNothing to see here
>>545637046Problem with Bible bashers like you, you never actual;ly read the book, did you? Be honest now: 1. The third heaven.Paul appears to describe a layered heavenly cosmology. The concept of multiple heavens was familiar in ancient Jewish religious thought, although Paul does not explain the structure or number of these heavens.2. The trance. The Greek word ekstasis (ἔκστασις), used in Acts 22:17, is associated with a state of being outside one's ordinary consciousness. It is the same Greek word family from which we derive the English word ecstasy.3. Things that cannot be spoken. In 2 Corinthians 12:4, Paul describes hearing things in Paradise that were not lawful or possible for a human being to express. He deliberately leaves the experience unexplained. One further passage worth investigatingI would particularly recommend reading 2 Corinthians 12:1–10 in its entirety.Paul discusses visions, revelations, Paradise, the third heaven, extraordinary spiritual experiences and, immediately afterwards, his mysterious thorn in the flesh. There is a remarkable juxtaposition between the highest conceivable spiritual experience and the suffering of ordinary human existence. In fact, this passage raises a fascinating mystical question: why would someone who had supposedly experienced Paradise still have to contend with profound earthly suffering? That tension is one of the most interesting aspects of Paul's spiritual writings.
>>545637622most of the stuff in the old and new testament never happened... most of the people weren't real people... its fiction
>>545632904So if the state is opposed to god you're just supposed to blindly support it? aren't most of the states/countries referred to as beasts in Revelations? your allegiance has to be to Christ.
>>545637622I stand corrected on Paul's mystical experiences. It's been a while since I've read the Corinthians letters, so 2 Corinthians 12 had slipped my mind. Although admittedly, due to it being written in the third person, I might not have attributed it to Paul the first time around.
The reason you think the bible is literally true is because you were raised in a culture that did mkultra trauma induced brainwashing telling you that you and the people love will be tortured for eternity. If this didnt happen you would view it similar to the Bhagavad Gita
>>545637982True, if there's any population in the world that definitely hasn't experienced trauma or brainwashing, it's the Indians.
