If misbehaves Democrats can impeach him. He was fully rebuked so badly remaining republicans can be forced to vote along with Dems. He destroyed his own legacy term 2. Pissed away our chance at thwarting communism that shit is here to stay now.

There are enough Dems to impeach. There aren't enough Dems for removal. They impeached twice during his first term but couldn't remove.
How do I know more about muttistan than you do, anon?

I am sure after the blue tsunami they can get whatever amount of Republicans to impeach they need.
The only question is do they want to impeach him?

Lmao no they don't. What the fuck is this cope? Career Republicans prefer *running* from the opposition, not being in it. Not the same thing.

The influence of these dickbags is nerfed as fuck in the opposition and they know it. That means less wealth and power, which is what career Republicans are after.

You said:
>11 republican senators are all that stands between him and impeachment btw
Impeachment and removal are two different things. The Dems don't need any Republicans for impeachment. Pay attention to the capitalized words:

https://www.congress.gov/crs-product/R44260

>Although the term "impeachment" is commonly used to refer to the removal of a government official from office, the impeachment process, as described in the Constitution, entails two distinct proceedings carried out by the separate houses of Congress. First, a SIMPLE MAJORITY of the House IMPEACHES—or formally approves allegations of wrongdoing amounting to an impeachable offense, known as articles of impeachment. The articles of impeachment are then forwarded to the Senate where the second proceeding takes place: an impeachment trial. If the Senate, by vote of a TWO-THIRDS MAJORITY, convicts the official of the alleged offenses, the result is REMOVAL from office of those still in office, and, at the Senate's discretion, disqualification from holding future office.

Dems have said they don't want to. But I think they're going to find out from voters that the desire to successfully impeach and remove Trump is too large to ignore. He's the least popular president before a midterms in US history

>>
>>545635150
It's pretty clear that Trump's plan is to sit in the cuck chair for two years and hope this all blows over while he quietly pardons everyone closest to him. Guys like Turek and Colom (if he wins) ran specifically on being Republican-lite, ie they don't intend on spending my political capital bashing Trump. Unless Trump gives Democrats a reason to push, it's just going to be house impeachments and inquiries. Though who knows, the inquiries might uncover something impeachment worthy. Then again, the average American doesn't really give a fuck about corruption.
>>
>>545635625
Listen I know you’re an autistic australian obsessed with america because your country is completely irrelevant and does nothing but sell rocks to china, but here in america, the country that actually matters, people use the term “impeachment” colloquially to refer to the entire process all the time. But you wouldn’t know that, because everything you know about american politics comes from youtube videos and online forums, which you think makes you an expert on american politics. Fuck off and spend your time online learning chinese, which will have a far higher roi for you irl

> PSA: TRUMP IS STILL
YOUR PRESIDENT
There’s a pretty significant chance he’ll be impeached now. The republican supermajority was the only thing keeping him safe. The crypto scamming alone could indict him, and he’s among the most unpopular presidents in US history at this point.

exactly, that’s the beauty of the way the bicameral legislature functions.
congressmen only have 2 year terms, so they absolutely will try to impeach as many as possible in order to keep their constituency.
senators serve for 6 years, so that will be where things might not go as smoothly as they judge someone being tentatively impeached.

Because they are morons on twitter. Democrats are very risk averse, no reason to ruin a good thing by acting as pugnacious as possible. There's too many moderate seats that rely specifically on the candidate promising to bridge between Democrats and Republicans. Now the Democrats do *want* Trump to give them an excuse. If they find something during the doubtless constant inquiries or if Trump does something catastrophically stupid, then Dems might put the heat on for an impeachment and even potentially getting some Republicans to split off for a removal. But it'd either have to be that Trump really was touching kids with Epstein or Trump choosing to do something very idiotic right now. Both of those are possibilities.

Yes, and those people have now rejected MAGA and anyone who has allegiance to Trump

MAGA got gaped during this election cycle. The candidates that did the worst were specifically the Trump handpicked ones (Paxton, Graham, Ramswamy) got fucked the hardest. Trump's support gets you only a chunk of the electorate, but it's the touch of death for independent voters. You're looking at an election where Louisiana could qualify as a fucking swing state and where Mississippi might end up being Democrat. Republicans fucked up hard and relying on the MAGA brand is suicide.
>>
>>545636138

For the Republicans to join in, the Dems have to focus on something tangible like whatever is going on with those pardons of crooks or the shitcoin scams or potential insider trading. Or they have to find a legit smoking gun with Epstein, which I doubt is there given how long they've had. That would be enough for Cornyn to call up his remaining friends in the Senate. If the Dems come out of the gate focusing on tiresome muh Russia bullshit or the ballroom, you know it's going to be a farce.

I mean, if the Dems focused on Israel as much as they do Russia, it would be very bad for Trump because they could likely find genuine treason, but obviously the Dems are beholden to the tiny hats, too, so I expect more flimsy schizo shit on muh Russia.

Stupid and catastrophically stupid are different things. Renaming the Gulf of Mexico or a dash of the old flagrant corruption is stupid, but not enough that Republicans will break rank for removal. Which means impeachment is just going to be costly unless Democrats can find a way to keep people caring about the issue for two years (a lesson they learned with Jan 6th is that Americans will forget even the most insane shit after two years). Catastrophically stupid would be him redeploying ICE while killing investigations into ICE shootings or trying to fire up DOGE again. It's doubtful he'll try that stupid shit again, but who knows.
