>so simple you can just plug and go, don't have to pay an (((electrician))) millions of dollars to set it up
>cheaper than paying for electricity, free energy after you buy them
>most inexpensive prices for solar panels in history right now
>can also just have a well and septic system for codes but collect rainwater and compost so you never have to maintain either
If they're getting rid of the jobs then we have a solution to all of it, the best thing we can do is be self sufficient and stop paying goyim and jooz to take care of us/

I'm putting one together now. Waiting on the battery and fuses.

Based. I have the exact same inverter
>>545671972
I also have a jackery 3600 home power plus and 3 smaller solar banks. Each family member gets one, the laundry is done in a small portable washing machine for daily clothing and for bedding a smaller washing machine just large enough for heavy blankets is attached to the sink. A 5000W generator is used to run the well, washing machine and dishwasher on the rare occasional use. That estimate is way off and gives no agency to the individual.
One power bank is more than enough to run a laptop for work/education and even free time however when charging the banks you need to be reading, chopping firewood or exercising using an old-school stationary bike converted into a laptop charging station. Can even read books or use the laptop while exercising.
TLDR: you don't need that much power, you're consooming way too much as it is

You should only pay $5,000 maximum for all your solar needs holy fuck. That's why you don't (((hire))) people for solar.

Very nice. I'm going to experiment to see what it can handle. Maybe my fridge and PC. I don't know if I'll ever need it but instinct told me it was probably a good idea to get it set up now.

Isn't sunshine illegal there?

Of course, the government the past few years has been cloud seeding over the Atlantic to ensure even those two months are also cold dark and miserable

Based and Renogy-pilled. I've got one of their solar blanket things.

The trick with the fridge is to freeze ice packs in the freezer and transfer them to the fridge so you only need to run the fridge for a few hours every other day or so.
The PC and Starlink will definitely drain your stuff unless you're getting full on solar exposure and panelMAXXING
>>545675498
Pic related will solve your needs for a moderate sized power bank, can at least power a laptop and pop Vyvanse on rest days to geek out and do game dev with a mobile tether under some comfy NEET blankets after an ice cold shower.

That's a good idea. I only have 200 watts of regular panels and 200 watts portable panels now. I wish I got started earlier in the year but I'll get to see how they do in wintertime I guess.

Got any power bank/portable power station recommendations?

Well, I applaud you for adjusting your lifestyle to fit within the limitations of solar and living off grid. I've always said that it is viable, but requires you to adjust in some way. Most people aren't willing to do that.

>>545674128
So you're building this just in case? Very smart. More people should keep a battery bank "solar generator" handy.

I live in a gulch and I keep having to move the panels further and further up the mountain, lol. Going to move the Jackery down soon, just going to have to wing it and see what happens.

Personally I have the Ecoflow River 1 and Ecoflow River 2 as my main banks for charging the laptop/drill/chainsaw battery, playing instruments, running lamps, etc. and a small powkey solar brick for backup.
The Jackery 3600 Homepower Plus is my main power source for my fridge, washing machine, internet, etc, I also got two extra battery banks for it.

It's completely worth it. People who like working and being a wagie should just use nuclear power to run their homes same with all the other zogbots who operate within the yid so they stop polluting and wasting resources.
For those who are sick of it all it's totally worth it, specially in 10 years when we have droids maintaining our homesteads.

Without breaking opsec could you vaguely describe what you do for work? How can you afford to live in what sounds like the middle of nowhere? Also how are you posting? Starlink?

Yeah pretty much. I also like to camp so that too. I enjoy building things and having cool toys.

I did carlife in the mountains bouncing between dispersed campsites and showering in creeks or boiling the water with a campstove in the Winter for about a decade to save up $50k, bought land for $15k and the solar setup for what I hope to be around $5k total but I haven't checked. I'm just coasting off my $30k in savings doing gamedev and webdev trying to git gud but if all goes south there is a town about 40 minutes away where I could work at a liquor store or the Dollar General. I haven't moved Starlink into the gulch yet to see how it does and haven't been running it as my Jackery is unfortunately down to under 40% from some days of rain and snow so I haven't been plugging in Starlink. It actually takes a lot more power than I thought it would, specially in Winter when it heats itself up to melt snow.
I am currently just using my phone as a tether while it's plugged into my laptop, charges my phone and provides internet so it's ultra convenient.

3 years ago my brother bought a tesla battery to charge off the solar panels on his roof.
At the time I remember arguing with him about that you would get just as many years of electricity paid for as the savings you'd make taken from the cost of the system.
Now I'm not so sure.
If I were to go for an electric vehicle I may follow suit.

I think every parking lot should get solar panels covers. Everyone wins. Cars get to park in the shade, jobs to install them become available, and everyone gets to benefit from the energy it'd generate. I don't know how anyone gets upset by this notion.
But no, we just HAVE to use something finite so the market can be manipulated and they can charge us whatever they want on a whim. The sun is basically immune to this. The powers that be just love to make us suffer needlessly too. God forbid a homeless person sits in the shade.

Looks awesome. I miss the mountains. Is the jackery worth it? I have a 200ah LiFePO4 ordered. I was thinking I can just expand it if needed.

I had more but I bought a new low mileage car and a camper and a carport and a shed kit and stuff, new gaming laptop, PC, instruments, also had to pay for a storage unit. It's easy to save when you don't have to pay rent but even if you do in some cases it's not hard to save up $50k. I might try to find a job as a fire lookout and live in there seasonally as I have a dog to look after now so I can't really do car life anymore.

The Mayor of my nearby town posts constantly about homeless beggars in the shartmart parking lot, could be employing them at a pyrolysis plant where they pick up plastic and sort it to be turned back into fuel but yeah judenhuts don't see the benefit in cleaning up our planet while generating excess fuel that could cut down gas prices, they are on a mission to make everything shitty. Can't even just have aeroponic towers aligning bike paths or anything utopian. Fucking boomers.
>>545680264
Yeah the Jackery suits my needs perfectly, I have 8 100W panels hooked up to it and it charges like a beast and puts out tons of power for table saws, air compressors, etc. I might have to get some of those batteries for my inverter, my parents gave me two deep cycle marine batteries from when they did built their house but they never charged them after they got connected to the powerlines so I'm not sure if they're going to work, lol.
Those batteries you ordered are great though, I remember staying on their plot using those batteries for awhile and my PC was able to run quite efficiently, same with the fridge. I just need to find a better permanent solar setup, with the sun dipping to the South my current spot for solar just isn't cutting it anymore.
>>
>>545679967
I think about doing something like that all the time. Problem is that I bought a house and my job basically consists of me playing video games so it's difficult to give up. When covid happened I was half wanting to get fired so I could go to the mountains and camp for a few months.
>>
>>545680756
A couple acres of land in the mountains is totally affordable if you know whe to look. If you ever want to airbnb your house or rent it out you could have an offgrid setup waiting plus a place to keep your stuff if you ever want to travel.
