I want to stop taking olanzapine, but I can’t; when i stop it (abruptly), I start experiencing fear, tremors, cold sweats, and confusion. I have been taking 5mg of olanzapine for 6 years, but I feel horrible—I am obese, and I don’t even have the energy to work. I hate it

is it possible to ween off? can you cut it or get lower doses? if so maybe spread it out over two months or something slowly tapering off until you don't need it any more (ask a doctor, this is not medical advice or a recommendation). if you are finally off i would recommend walking and then after 3 months slowly starting to walk faster, than after 1 month try jogging for like 2 minutes and increasing 30 seconds once a week. stop eating fast food, just drink WATER ONLY for drinks, it will be TORTURE at first but here is a secret NO one tells you, you get used to ANYTHING after 1 week. and then it seems normal. i hope you feel better my friend

Just wean off it
>>

Why are you on it? Do you have a reason to be in fear? This shit is a band aid to help you deal with your genuine understanding of your situation motherfucker. You might just be seeing things clearly bro.

Ashton method slow taper or you will end up more brain damaged than you already are
>>
Very low dose. Ween off if it truly is causing the issue and not a resurgence of the underlying issue.

That is an anti-psychotic. Find a better doctor. To find a different med. Get thyroid panel. Take Berberine to help counter the weight gain.

Best of luck mexibro. Mental helllllth is the worst pain to manage.

Tell your doctor and change meds or adjust dosage. Meds like that often stop working properly. A friend was on 3 different ones for OCD and tourettes. Also take ozempic.

The best thing you can do for your mental health is eat right. The "lion diet" is an elimination diet that removes all possible inflammatory sources (which cause physical and mental issues). Eat beef with salt, and drink water. When I eat clean like this, my nose isn't stuffy, my body doesn't ache, I move better, and I lose weight rapidly, even eating 2+ pounds of beef in a day. And most important is the mental clarity.
For Halloween, I decided to have some candy. I forgot how awful common foods make me feel. My depression and anxiety were through the roof. My guts hurt.
If you are a sugar addict as much as me, the first week or 2 will be hard. Just eat beef. Lots of beef. Have a craving? Eat more beef. And when you get adjusted to it, you can start adding things back slowly to see if it causes you problems.
Regarding the drugs, talk to your doctor before adjusting dosage yourself. I had money problems and had to go off of antidepressants cold turkey. I think it gave me brain damage.

I don't know guys, he's on that for a reason. Ive dealt with these people that get medicated and feel fone and dont need the drugs to control, limit their creativity, energy, whatever. Then they turn around, get off them and make life a living hell for people around them. The medicine is actually helping them, but they dont see anything but control. I dont support antidepressants and think those are definitely a scam though

Just taper off slowly. It's going to suck no matter what. You won't feel normal for a long time after stopping either.
>>
>>545705059
When you cut off meds suddenly, it must have felt like entering hell. That's usually called a rebound effect. If you don't have someone guarding you like a prison guard to make sure you take them, tapering is the only answer, bro.

If you've got enough time and the right circumstances, even if you cut it off cold turkey and just grind through it, you'll eventually get better.

Are there any prescribed meds that can counter the lethargic effects of Sertraline (Zoloft)?
I tried taking it at night at 7pm as per the GP instead of in the morning as per originally advised, but then it fucks with my sleep. If I do take it at night, I have to take a half tab of Zopiclone, but that's not sustainable.
Any thoughts?
(yes, I am a light-weight in the pill popping scheme of things.)

You took the jew pill. This is what happens.
Seriously you maybe need to lower dosage until you're done. Talk to a doctor man. They love getting people OFF drugs if you tell them that's what you want. Doctors hate druggies. Tell them you don't want jew pills anymore.

Does Zoloft work that well for you? Agomelatine sedates you before bed but doesn't cause morning grogginess supposedly.

>Does Zoloft work that well for you?
I've been on it before at a higher dose (100mg), this time around I am on 50mg and after a month (as of yesterday) I have found it to be really good at keeping me neutral and not having the extreme fluctuations in mood, but the disruptive sleep issues are concerning and also confusing.
If I take it in the morning (today for example) at 7am, at 9:30 I lay done and slept until 3:30pm.
If I take it at 7pm, then lay down at 10:30pm, I have a restless sleep.
So I am just looking to gauge other anons opinions on what has been prescribed for them to counter the affects, or what they have experienced, if similar.
>Agomelatine sedates you before bed but doesn't cause morning grogginess supposedly.
Thanks, I'll have a look.
I'm just reading up on other complimentary meds, but most seem to have a sedative effect also, maybe pairing them with Zoloft and taking them at night/evening is an option.... particularly Seroquel.

>Zoloft
LoL, LMAO even, turning from hell to schizo hell.
>>
>>545711604
>Agomelatine
I just had a read and that seems to be a really good pathway to mention to my GP and see what they think.
Much better than the other alternatives that I've read up on.
Cheers.

Try sauna, and brain supplements like Omega 369, Vitamin B-Compex, and other supplements that help rebuild the brain.

I wanna stop 7OH. I'm in a bad spot. Any idea how long the WDs will last if I've been taking it daily for a year? 500-1000mgs.

There's a research chemical that supposedly helps with opioid withdrawal. It's unfortunately been scheduled though and I can't remember what it's called. I remember seeing it on particular root vegetable sites.

Is it s17 or something to that name?

I asked my psych to taper off aripiprazole as it was giving me horribly long dreams near the end. They had no choice but to approve the tapering.
