Worse day of my life. I was drinking too, but my sorrows away
>>545713239why??We all hate trump now, but 2016 was magical. He was going to fix everything
>>545713578>He was going to fix everythingDid people actually believe this?I thought it was just a "fuck you" vote for memes and giggles.
>>545713632I wanted Rand Paul to win but yeah I went along with Trump for the memes but he was supposed to do SOME good shit
>>545711789Wow. I remember that night clearly. Trump 1.0 politically activated me. I was downtown in STL during the Trump campaign speech where all of us that couldn't get in- (the line was over a mile or two long) - were around the back and I saw AIDS Skrillex and the other two cuck meme people, along w the nig that started fights etc, go down. I'm in some of thr footage but won't do.Anyway on that day a DECADE ago I voted trump, and while my girlfriend was at her job at the bar I kept all media off and just kind of hung out, drove around, and I turned my phone off.I was driving down near St Louis University (SLU) when group of black girls in a car next to me at a light asked if they could have my "white privilege". Still I didn't listen to any results. I figured trump must've been winning.Around midnight I showed up at my girls bar and her friend wad laughing at a video of Clinton supporters crying at that "glass ceiling" building she was supposed to give her grand victory speech at.It felt magical. We all got drunk as hell and enjoyed a few weeks of the best memes. But then Trump seemed hamstrung by rest of govt. Then 2020. Then trump 2.0 has proven he is probably one of the worst presidents ever. Something happened where trump went full zio cock sucking faggot.Fuck. Feels bad, man.
>>545714621Everything after feels like a fever dream.

>>545716067i wanna say i was on /pol/ at the time because i vaguely remember it but i'm pretty sure i didn't start using this site until i was ten and i was nine in 2016. in all likelihood i was probably playing minecraft or something
>>545711789No it wasn't, shut up, there's still two days until then. Technically it's been 9 years and 363 days.
>>545716509It's funny to think about my shitposting shaping your life, what's felt long for you was short for me.
>>545716067Here. Enjoying the “Never Come Down” sticky.
I was shocked by how many Israel-supporters were celebrating his win that night. Over time they gradually pretended they only did it for the lulz and that they never really supported him, but I was there. I still remember.
>>545716586yeah. being a prodigy in english and having unsupervised internet access for as long as i can remember probably fucked up my life but i turned out fine i guess
>>545716611>>545716858damn I got so fucking drunk that night brosCraziest time I've ever had on this website.I remember the "PENNSYLVANIA IS TURNING RED" thread and I couldn't believe it.Then the never come down stickythen watching CNN announce itfucking INSANETrump is a ziocuck retard now, but damn for once we had hope

Long post, I know... but such a fun night. My Dad was visiting me where I lived across the country. We were out drinking at my regular bar just BSing with my buddy (who was the bartender). We drank all night at a mostly conservative bar because I lived in a non-cucked state at the time. We were all kind of drinking our sorrows away early since everyone was convinced Hillary would win. My dad and I walked out with a $12 tab as my buddy never charged me except for a drink or two since we tipped so big. Left him $100 in tip. Win-win for us both. Went home, passed out at this AirBNB my dad was renting. About 7 am, my Dad shakes me awake and says wake up, you won't fucking believe it. I was hungover as hell. He said Trump won. I said fuck you, I'm going back to sleep. He said get the hell out of bed, TRUMP WON!!! I truly thought he was still hammered and mistakenly reading a The Onion article or some shit. Nope.I grabbed his laptop and pulled up 4chan and pulled up /pol/ because fuck it. I threw on coffee and got breakfast going. Showed him how to quasi-navigate the website and told him he'll see all sorts of crazy shit, but it'll be absolutely worth it. We had on some local news stream in the background for audio and just looked at all the OC images and memes and Twitter reactions and all that bullshit that you beautiful fuckers spouted out that early morning and throughout the day. We went the same bar around 2 or 3 pm. Got drunk again, this time in celebration and not defeat. Went back to the AirBnB and hopped back on 4chan and just cracked up at all the images and shit and the overwhelming joy of not having Hillary for 4 years. It was legitimately one of the most memorable days of my Dad and my life. He still mentions it all the time and asks about that website from time to time. I'm convinced he does that to cover his ass and he browses here regularly now. He must have downloaded 1,000+ images from those threads. I have them somewhere still.
>that was 10 years ago....We were so hopeful then.
>>545711603MAGA achievements since then? Other than making everything more expensive and banning tranny bathrooms in some redneck podunk, I mean.
>>545717481I enjoyed your story anonwith me I lied and got out of work early to get drunk and shitpost with /pol/Then HWNDU happened over the next few months. It was hilarious and felt like the right wing dominated the internet. This was before breadtube too, youtube was full of right wing videos hahahaThat's all over now. Goddamn I miss that time.
>>545717627>>545717563ITT Post your memes and images from that time
>>545711603It was pretty funny seeing all the butthurt liberal white people bitch and moan when he got in. Now it's funny seeing all the conservative white people bitch and moan now that he's on his way out. Lol
>>545717917In the first term he had some criminal justice reforms, mainly for non violent drug crimes, and he was on office and presumably authorized the strikes that killed the leader of ISIS and that one Iranian general
>>545718081
>>545711603gg, MuttsTrump sounds a bit soft, and a whore for jewsI hope he overcomes it, desuelse, it will just be wasted time
>>545717727Imagine ten years from now
>>545718663I will not imagine that.
>>545711603I cried two days. Had red, swollen eyes. I was so happy. Couldn't believe it. Against all odds. It was fantastic.
>>545718578aparently alex jones is visible in this pic somewhere
>>545718855that is why I saved theseit was a good time :)
>>545719103I have a huge archive as I seriously studied the whole thing from mid-2015 on. It was almost religious. 2018 midterms killed the buzz as it became clear that he was blocked and sabotaged by his own people.2024/25 kinda renewed some of the spirit, the Iran war flattened the curve though.
>>545717481This story is really good thanks for sharing anon but it did make me realize that ive missed out on a lot during my life having been raised by a single mom who was also a fundamentalist Christian. I'll never get to experience that life oh well. We've all got stories to tell I am thankful for my wife and daughter tho. God's blessed me in different ways I will forever be thankful for. Its amazing how much has changed in the past decade since 2026 i am nervous for my family what lies ahead - if I said I wasn't then id be lying.
