When steam under immense pressure is forced through micro- or nano-sized apertures, the friction between its molecules and the walls of these openings physically separates positive ions from negative ones. This charge separation at the nozzle outlet creates a high potential difference; consequently, when the poles are connected—effectively "short-circuiting" them—an electric current is generated, capable of powering devices. This concept means that electricity can be produced directly from water vapor and pressure, without the need for traditional, moving turbines. The key lies in the fact that as steam escapes through these tiny openings, it literally "rubs" against their walls, forcing the positive and negative ions to part ways. In effect, these miniature apertures function as a natural power plant, where immense mechanical pressure is converted into clean electrical energy the moment the two groups of ions are linked by a conductor.
>>545720713>When steam under immense pressureWhat drives the compressor?
damn that explains all the shocks i got ironing my budgie smugglers
So we use huge amounts of energy to heat up water to super-heated steam, then use even more energy to force it through nano-holes under immense preassure. And the end result is a tiny amount of electricity produced.Where do I send my money, I want to invest
>>545720887Heat. The issue is wear and ablation. We can do similar with hydrogen in fuel cells, easier, right now. Maybe one day...
>>545721999trips of truth steam got completely ignored in science which is hilarious
When you post this face i do not read your schizo post. Thanks for the warning
>>545721999What generates the heat?
>>545720713A system like that would require distilled water and probably doesn't generate enough power to distill its own supply. I've seen people generate electricity using old car turbos linked to alternators powered by steam, that always fascinated me as a concept for something that could generate electricity + hot water from your wood stove. The turbos don't like steam though, and again I don't think it's a very efficient system compared to something as simple as a photovoltaic panel or a wind/water turbine.https://youtu.be/Xb6TIWub6KU
>>545723241Nuclear is literally steam
>>5457242981.waste recovery2.geothermal heat3.solar energy4.biomass5.nuclear reactorsalso minimum amount of heat is generated within nanonozzles through friction
>>545724298fuel is a good option. you could use anything really. a nuclear pile, a natural gas burner, solar mirrors, wood pellets, whatever. most power generation is about converting heat to electricity in some form. heat side is interchangeable. just add heat method is seperate, stamdardized workstream.
>>545720713> if you burn up a micro-pattenred nozzle you dont have to maintain turbine bladescool story bro
Micro sized openings would clog up like crazy, another poland fail
>>545724991>>545725020damn its actually incredibly sad to see these replies you seriously believe your words here? its over
Give me STEAM
>>545726182gimme fuel gimme fire gimme all what u desire!!!
>>545720713>friction between its molecules and the walls of these openings physically separates positive ions from negative ones.No it doesn't, thats not how friction works.
>>545724789Old washing machine motors work good too
Steam punks were correct all along.Who jew?
