Why is the American population so fat?
>>
High fructose corn syrup
>>
>>545728718
80% of diabetics in the USA are non White and hispanics ain't White.
>>
How exactly does one "fall" for misleading labels? What exactly is up with American labels that could mislead someone?
>>
>>545728841
This. End corn subsidies. End row farming. Develop the land for housing.
>>545728911
Obesity and diabetes are related, true. But every race here, minus East Asians and Muslim Asians are all near or over 50% adult severe obesity.

>experts blame the labeling
this right here. of course it is a combo of retardation and bad labeling but the labeling would be the thing to overcome most of the bad purchasing. not being able to cook at home doesnt help either.
case in point was recently i happened to see a label that said "toxin free". i realized this is either a total lie or a cope about a product because the reverse (toxin-filled) does not and will never exist.
companies can slap any label or mark on their product that is peak positive:
>cruelty free
>vegan
>toxin free
>organic
>all natural
which implies that anything without these labels is in fact
>cruel
>toxic
>synthetic poison
>genetically modified
>all artificial
but a company would NEVER describe their product that way, so the real health and nutrition is buried very very deep down in the manufacturing and processing. the problem is that food is either super ultra mega healthy.... or kinda not as healthy. there is no honest characterization of food.

Why would 'whole grain' or 'fat free' be misleading? That doesn't give you the whole picture of how healthy the product is, but those claims would be accurate.

To be fair if 100% of people could properly read the labels, it would make zero impact on obesity. People aren't eating tubs of icecream, drinking gallons of soda, and eating fast food 3 times a day because they mistakenly think its healthy.

The Amish are perfectly healthy.
The men are in horse-drawn carriages all day commuting from farm to farm and the women are indoors making and selling fried chicken.
Can't say they eat a little. They eat a lot.
But it's what they eat that's different.
Same paprika, same tomato, same soil, 0 chemicals, 0 pesticides, 0 herbicides, 0 artificial flavours, 0 ingredients from a laboratory.

And without government GIBs they'd have to get real jobs and actually work and would probably turn Democrat overnight.

High testosterone Alpha males prefer a woman with a body fat content that signals fertility. The secondary sex characteristics of a human female require higher fat content. A large buttocks, ample bosom, and wide hips signal that a woman is fertile and capable of giving birth to healthy babies to prospective male suitors who would like to mate with her. https://www.bluezones.com/articles/research-says-walking-this-much-per-week-extends-your-life/

>In Amish communities in North America, one study showed that the average woman logged 14,000 steps per day and the average man logged 18,000 steps per day, and both genders averaged about 10,000 on their day of rest. These Amish communities also had the lowest rates of obesity of any community in North America.
That's like 5-6 miles a day.

https://www.npr.org/2012/05/09/152336560/excerpt-the-first-20-minutes
>found that Amish men spent more than 10 hours a week in vigorous activity, on top of almost 43 hours a week of moderate activity and 12 hours a week of walking. They averaged almost 18,500 steps per day, or about nine miles of walking every day of the week except Sunday. The Amish women were relatively slothful, covering only about 7.5 miles per day, on average.

>By comparison, according to 2010 statistics, most American adults take about 5,000 steps a day, which pales in comparison not only with the Amish but also with activity levels in other countries. The happy-go-lucky Australians average about 9,700 steps a day, the highest total in the Western world.

The big deal with obesity is basically how much time per day you spend on your feet... as >>545729683 pointed out Americans drive even quarter mile distances. Most American jobs are sedentary, and most American recreational activities (like posting on 4chan) are also sedentary, so it isn't abnormal for an American to spend less than an hour on his feet in a given day. As I explained earlier, due to the way cars have affected urban design in our country, it is almost impossible to walk anywhere, which used to be a normal social activity in neighborhoods.

Calories and nutritional content are broken up into unrealistic "per serving" on the label. So you might get a 100 calorie per serving but a single candy bar is listed as 3.5 servings etc...
>>
Also another factor I should point out in why Americans never spend any time on their feet is that the clothes these jewish corporations design for us to wear are completely trash for walking. If Amish men typically walk around 9 miles a day, imagine trying to do that in a pair of sweatpants or skinny jeans with your phone wallet and keys in your pockets. The clothes these jews are designing for us are completely trash.
>>
>>545729011
US doesn't label things by 100g (or any standard weight like per pound or something), they can use any base measurement they choose and then agressively round things down. For instance you can have essentially 100% sugar based candy like tick tacks have a label that claims they are sugar free because they used 3 tick tacks as a portion and then rounded the 1g down to 0. In exact same vein they can have a "high protein" product that has say 20g of protein per serving but then you realize it's for a whole pound of the stuff. US nutrition labels are some of the worst in the world.

3. Mass production of low-quality foods
4. Being able to market normal quality foods as a luxury in the setting of the above
5. Overconcentration of the population into urban areas, hostile urban planning, and increasing wealth disparity, decreased cultural homogeneity and air quality making it less appealing to go outdoors for wide swaths of the population

"real bread" is not bread full of sugar and preservatives. i.e. flour, yeast, salt, water.

Compared to Wonder white bread:
Ingredients:
(wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), water, sugar, yeast, contains 2% or less of each of the following: calcium carbonate, wheat gluten, basedbean oil, salt, dough conditioners (contains one or more of the following: sodium stearoyl lactylate, calcium stearoyl lactylate, monoglycerides, mono-and diglycerides, distilled monoglycerides, calcium peroxide, calcium iodate, datem, ethoxylated mono- and diglycerides, enzymes, ascorbic acid), vinegar, monocalcium phosphate, citric acid, cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), onions lecithin, alcium propionate (to retard spoilage).

I wouldn't have believed this but I have spoken to a few individuals about this, including someone with diabeetus, and none of them read the label properly.
The diabeetus person told me "this package of food only has 300 hundred calories!" I had to point out to them it read THREE SERVINGS which totaled 900 calories. The others had also never realized a nutrition label contains multiple servings.
This is a key reason Americans are fat fucks. They see a label showing 300 calories and neglect to realize it has multiple servings.

Demoralized and depressed people over eat.

Food designed to be addictive (IE high sugar, high glycemic, wheat designed to mimic sugar, etc) will effectively create addicts for your brand.

Show non-stop food ads everywhere.

>Why is the American population so fat?
Obesity at the population level is a sign of MALNUTRITION.

Americans are fat because of (((replacement))) of nourishing real food by more profitable "food product" made from GMO's, artificial ingredients, and fillers.

The body sends hunger signals based not in caloric needs but on NUTRIENT needs. So as nutrient-rich foods are replaced by nutrient-deficient artificial substitutes, the body naturally requires the consumption of more "food" - and thus empty calories - to compensate.

That this extra consumption both increases profits and leaves the goyim too fat and sick to fight against the jews' anti-white genocide is also a benefit.

See pictures of Americans from before the kike poisoning of the food supply to see what Americans look like when fed their natural diet.

tl;dr - jews
