He does realize that if he starts veto'ing everything, team blue will have every reason and incentive to go HARD on impeachment, right?

>>545754196They'll send him shit like "The Stop bombing Iran act" and "the Lower All Prices Act" to veto purely for messaging
>>545754606I'm looking forward to the "Free the US from ZOG Act."
>>545754196>ponies for everyone>but Orange Man vetot. Democrats
>>545754196For the next two years, any Republican who hopes to get elected again in in 2028 is going to distance themselves as much as possible from Trump. Expect significant numbers of (the remaining lol) Repubs in Congress to vote with Dems on overrides.
>>545754196>go HARD on impeachmentThey know that convicting Trump is very unlikely, so they'll probably just start by doing background investigations to produce all the evidence for a future DOJ to press charges. If they do impeach Trump, it will probably be much later (maybe 2028), and they'll do it only once, with like 50 articles of impeachment. As for impeaching others, they'll probably limit it to the one or two who have committed the most egregious and easily-prosecutable crimes. They won't want to create the impression that they're spending all their time impeaching everyone. It's much better if they spend their time passing popular bills that most people want, and then when Trump vetoes it, they can show everyone what Democrats intend to do if they're given the presidency in 2028. They should pass a new bill like once every week to make sure it's perpetually in the news.
>>545755191>Expect significant numbers of (the remaining lol) Repubs in Congress to vote with Dems on overrides. That's going to be the most interesting and important question over the next 2 years -- will there be enough Republican senators to hit the 60 vote threshold? It will only take either 4, 5, or 6 Republican senators to vote with the Dems to pass a bill. And for impeachment conviction, it will require 11, 12, or 13 Republican senators. (We'll know the exact numbers by the end of the month.) The biggest question by far is whether Trump's hold over the Republican senators will prevent the 60 needed to pass a bill (or the 67 to convict). That will basically tell you whether MAGA is finally dead or not, which is the huge, historic question we all want to know the answer to.
>>545754196They already have every reason and they should. Dude was doing an impeachable offense every fuckin' day. Dude should be sent to the fuckin' mega dungeons.
>>545754196>He does realize that if he starts veto'ing everything, team blue will have every reason and incentive to go HARD on impeachment, right? You can't be dumb enough to actually believe compromise with people who want us and our families dead and mutilated is an option. You have to be a shill, no one is that dumb. They will do all they can - the military is the only way out and Trump is too cucked to use it domestically.
