Assume that you're rich. How are you going to protect your assets from seizure by random motherfuckers and the government? You would need to leverage some sort of a political capital at some point to secure your own position and assets, that is inevitable.The difference between being poor+political vs rich+political is that at least in the latter case you can get some measurable benefit from being political.

By keeping a diligent eye out for opportunity you may not even need 20 instances. Threw 800 or so dollars at someone once and scored a multiplier of 30. This was not using puts/calls or trading or leverage. Simple buy and hold.In the end you don't know how quickly you'll succeed (well if you're a genuine genius you might see how) but if you put aside the entertainment a bit more and make the time to carefully consider assets, you'll make winning picks.
