Can I hang it on my wall and inspect every brush stroke? No of course not because its worthless slop.
>>
>>545797250
>why is this picture worse?

It's not of a vagina. Isn't that what Claude Monet drew? Or wait a minute I'm thinking of Okeefe.
>>
>>545797515
yes you can. we have a tesla robot that paints it exactly like a human would, with robotic hands and normal brushes.
>>
>>545797250
I'll worry that AI is going to replace me when it stops failing simple counting problems and stops giving me book/song titles that don't exist.
>>
>>545797250

An image of a painting is not a painting. And it completely misses the point, the value of an artwork is not merely its aesthetics, it's how it relates to its time and the artist, the techniques used, its authenticity and originality.

Not true at all, you don't know shit about art if you think different artists paint the same way. There's many nuances to personal style in painting.

So far I have seen very few examples of AI-generated art that point in a positive direction. Even the more successful and astonishing examples have a stale aftertaste because they lack the element of effort, of suffering, of actual skill, because they too are calculated, machine-made series products, even if they are individually modeled by a designer.
I believe that an essential part of art is a certain amount of struggle and effort. A creative act should not be cheap or painless. It should cost something. If you learned that Leonardo da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa in an hour and didn't care at all about the end result, or if you heard that he got a robot or artificial intelligence to do it for him, then wouldn't you feel cheated? Art should be the fruit of an effort. If there is no effort, it is not art. It requires practicing skills, identifying and nurturing talent, time, energy and commitment. Part of being human is doing things we care about; If the matter comes to us too easily, we have not demonstrated that we seriously care about it. If the thing we have created does not reflect the time and care that went into its creation, it is worthless - at least as a monument to human endeavor, because that is simply not what it is.
What results here is a kind of propaganda porn. In general, AI images have an essentially pornographic character or "spirit," regardless of their content.

It a copy of a style. Many artists could do much better than clippy.
And without a 25 trillion dollar investment and psychopathic jews using the computers for nefarious reasons.
Just a copy anon.
A a mediocre one at best.

When we admire and celebrate Michelangelo's art, it's impossible not to admire and celebrating his craftsmanship as well, which made his art possible in the first place. It is thanks to craftsmanship that there are signs and through them the legibility of everything that we recognize as art and name as such. It is one of the sickest ideas of modernism to want to propagate and realize the idea of "pure" art, to have to cleanse art of the "shackles of craftsmanship". Modernism pays homage to an ideology of purity, which is art without craft. This evokes the image of the artist who, godlike, transforms everything he wants to into art without touching it, without using any technique. If this delusion could become reality, the subjectivity of art would disappear and with it the subject of art: the artist. Without him, however, there is no art, because gods are not subjective. The first ideas about the dissolution of art, such as the "sociology of seeing", emerged towards the end of the 19th century, which disgusted artists such as Odilon Redon. In late modernism, the art world, infiltrated by the left, continued to eliminate the artist in art with the phrase "everyone is an artist".

You never think about historical context and value which is why you lost tranny. You pay lip service to history and its value then the moment you got the chance you devalued art.

>>
>>545797250
Once you notice the trick its not that impressive, its just going through its huge database and sticking images together and then using a filter. AI is good at changing the texture and color of images and attempting to model it but its need something to copy first.
Try and change the image of a car like different wheels etc, AI will constantly screw it up.
AI is good for programming because you are often sticking together a log of pieces and its fine.
>>
>>545797515
unironically you probably could find a way to do that far easier than you would be able to acquire the funds to buy a legitimate Monet painting.
>>
>>545798455
I'm fairly certain this is an old bait post where the person claimed it was an AI portrait when it was a genuine article Monet painting to prove that people are retarded knee jerk faggots when it comes to anything AI.

Buterlian jihad sounded a bit silly at first but it's starting to make a lot of sense now. AI fags who didn't even contribute to its creation are now just blindly running around singing its praises, desperate for it to do all of their thinking and creating for them. They can't or won't understand the danger of this technology and if the day of jihad comes they will never comprehend just how much people hate them and their thinking machines.
>>
And it's shit too like it's a child's outmost attempt to copy it absolutely fucking incredible

It’s not an AI generated picture you retard it’s a trick question, he just copied a photo of the real painting and said it was AI generated and retards like you immediately start calling it slop lol

It is, in fact he’s using this exact public domain image >>545798723 you can see the cropping and everything is identical

>>

No I think developing the tech and training a neural network to paint real paintings would cost more time and effort than buying a painting.

Art by its very nature is a display of human skill and imagination. This is not art by this definition any more than an intricate 3D printed sculpture is, while an intricate, hand-crafted sculpture is.
>>
If it was great you would have asked for an image in the style of AI rather than Monet. The very fact you ask for a copy proves Monet is just superior to a statistical machine that can copy it.
>>
>>545799510
Really, the per capita numbers would be more telling for this.

But can it pain like a robot would ?

I'd rather have an elephant paint me something than AI just stopping shit together it finds on the internet.
>>
>>545797250
Monet did multiple studies of these water and lillies paintings, and there are plenty of copies of them,
Nothing really made the famous one special or more "perfect".
Perfect art doesn't exist, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

It looks like a chinaman's attempt at replicating Monet without understanding Monet. Also there are just random splotches of bullshit artificially thrown into the image whereas with Monet those were reflections, floating lilypads, rocks.
>>
>>545799318
I don't think that training neural network, which plenty of people do, would cost $30-80 millions. In fact, I guess that all you need is a robot arm, some cameras and a program that can disassemble pictures into layers of distinct colors while taking into account what colors they turn out when mixing on canvas. Or something like this. The main problem here wold be not training, but figuring out how to feed paints to robot arm to paint with. Maybe 3D printer would be better even.

>>

Lol, dirty old woman.
>>
>>545797250
This is actually so true.

Hey fellow anons. Let us look at the reasoning, context, and meta level for the post. What can we take away from the OP?

Is the OP claiming that we don't even need humans anymore? Is that a world any humans want? What would be the reasoning for why the OP would even want a world without humans?
>>
>>545800069
>>545800765
it's real Monet painting proving humans are retarded
>>
>>545801114
The meta is to increase the general level of societal anxiety in order to erode people's ability for cold reason so that they can be more easily lead and controlled. You'll find this meta is contained in the majority of OPs on here.
>>
>>545797758
anything can be art, this post is art. art is bullshit go fuck yourself hippy.
>>
>>545797250
The biggest screwup of modern thought is defining things as the sum of their parts rather than their history.
This is how you get shit like arguing over what is a woman or retards not understanding why AI can't replace artists.
