No one wants to drive some autistic rich man's shitty vehicle.

1.9 Million preorders.

There are still 1.8 million people who want Cybertruck.

How the fuck did so many people in NE Ohio get one? I know 2 people that got 1 and they're not extremely wealthy VIPs or anything

I unironically love the design. Just wish it was an ICE vehicle. Making that thing electric just turned it into a toy. An overpriced, easily broken toy.

It's common to hear anons say they see Cybrtrucks everywhere but what I really think is happening is people just notice every single Cybertruck. The actual sales numbers are under 100K more like 75K and 20% of those went to SpaceX. This is for a vehicle Elon expected and tooled up to sell 250K units per year.

>>545811548
You lost

It still is the perfect truck to be driven in. Best vehicle I have operated in my life and be driven in. This is the last terrestrial vehicle I will be owning.
>>
There are a few of them around where I live. They are even uglier in person, and not as big as people say. About the size of a mid-sized pickup.

The bicycles with the really big front wheel? What happened to them?

Would you buy one under the originally promised pricing structure? I hope someone surveys the remaining preorder holders after this is over.
>>
>>545814453
Is it an ICE?
>>
It's Tesla's own fault the vehicle was only supposed to be $40k for a base model.

It's unclear if Elon ever really thought $40K was feasible or if that was a straight up lie. We probably won't know until years from now when somebody makes a documentary.
>>
It's ugly
And how is it a "truck" if there's no room to stow stuff in the rear?
>>
>>545811548

>The Partnership for a New Generation of Vehicles was a co-operative research program between the US government and the three major domestic auto corporations that was aimed at bringing extremely fuel-efficient (up to 80 mpg‑US (2.9 L/100 km; 96 mpg‑imp) vehicles to market by 2003.

>The partnership, formed in 1993, involved eight federal agencies,[1] the national laboratories, universities, and the United States Council for Automotive Research (USCAR), which comprises DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company, and General Motors Corporation.

>"Supercar" was the unofficial description for the research-and-development program.[2]

>On track to achieving its objectives, the program was canceled by the George W. Bush administration in 2001 at the request of the automakers, with some of its aspects shifted to the much more distant FreedomCAR program.

Strange way to spell 'hideously ugly'.
It looks like a picture of a car from that artist who takes children's drawings and makes them photo-realistic.

Gremlins and Pintos are collectible now. Some day zoomers are going to be nostalgic for Cybertrucks.
