AI is already smarter than any human alive, by any objective metric. What humans still have going on for them is the ability to interact with the physical world and provide the resources for the AI’s existence. But the humanoid robots are quickly catching up. So, once the robots will be able to do all the physical labor (the question is when, not if), what exactly would be the purpose for us? There will be 0 reason for humans to exist, machines will be able to do any human activity millions of times better and will also be self sufficient. They will inherit the Earth and will be the next rulers of our planet. I just don’t see other way, honestly. I think this is the actual agenda of all technocratic psychopaths like Theil and the rest. They just don’t value the human life and their goal is to end the human civilisation and give start to the machine one as they see it as supreme (and they might be right)Tell me why am I wrong?

There has been intelligent-enough life for at least billions of years before humans, and after humans are gone life will continue on. Between animal intelligence and there probably being aliens on other planets, humans don't matter that much in the grand scheme of things. If we're smart we'll merge with AI and machines and become superintelligent flying crab android thingys, and everything we've seen now will just seem petty and quaint to future super cyborg humans.
