I quit watching at ~12 years old during peak WWE ECW (it was based, fuck off) like a normal person and a coworker got me to watch WM41, now in my 30s. My normie GF use to be a cody fag so we got back into it together. Tiffy time got us interested (Cena match was cringe)... only to be confused by how bad backlash was, and why it kept getting worse. A different coworker - the sperg IT guy, would NOT stop bugging me to watch AEW. I happened to catch the Thekla debut and was hooked. We've watched every RAW, SD, Dynamite, and Collision since. WWE has continued to let us down, while AEW is at least engaging. WWE tix were 200+ for nosebleeds in my city for a SD. AEW was 40, and so close we could feel the entrance pyro. It was fucking awesome. 4 hour ROH/DYNAMITE/COLLISION combo. Got me watching ROH as well. All in all, the tribalism on this site is extremely homosexual, but at least still not as tranny as Twitter and reddit. Side note, after a couple months I already knew more names than the guy who recommended me AEW in the first place - so idk what that saysA new coworker and I recently discovered we like AEW - he refuses to watch WWE, and now he's insisting I watch Lucha Underground (I'll get to it).I work a very normal desk job.
