wrestling is just a corpse pulled by strings that are starting to break apart. just cut them off already.
>>20551422true we need vince back
>>20551422watch JCW
>>20551422Stop watching WWE retardkun.
>>20551422But enough about WWE
>>20551422the aew fans larping as lifelong historians are really pushing me away from wrestling entirely
>>20551422Yep
>>20551422>The wrestling that you watch is just a corpse pulled by strings that are starting to break apart.Fixed that for you.
>>20551731>aew fans larping as lifelong historiansWe AEW fans weren't the ones shitting our pants for Mr. Iguana because it wasn't the first time we had seen him or wrestling outside of our box before.
>>20551736this kill the obese subhuman smark
>>20551422Weekend at Bernie’s is basically like an episode of Raw except less funny
>>20551422You do realize there were fans who felt like this in the mid-90s before the Attitude era hit?I'm not saying I believe we're on the verge of another boom period like back then, wrestling may very well be starting to die for real this timeI'm just saying there have been dark periods before but obviously that didn't mean the end back then
>>20553389Can you explain how we are in a dark period when wrestling is super popular? WWE attendance is relatively very good. Even Dave would say this. They are makings tonnes of money with overpriced tickets and merch. Their TV/Streaming deals are literally worth billions. They recently got purchased for $9 billion. I want to get inside the head of retarded /pw/ smarks. Someone help me understand.
>>20553494>WWE attendance is relatively very good. Even Dave would say this. They are makings tonnes of money with overpriced tickets and merch. Their TV/Streaming deals are literally worth billionsI know /pw/ anons generally aren't fond of the black people (especially rappers), but I think Tupac had a good response to thishttps://youtu.be/vE-_We4bYKM?t=56
>>20553389I wonder what a post-attitude era boom would even look like. 2012, 2016, and 2023 are good examples of moments that could have begun a boom period. Either it's WWE's fault for losing their momentum, or wrestling just has a natural ceiling that it's not worth trying to break.
>>20553578He says he still supports him though so you support WWE then tranny?
>>20553389Wrestling boomed because there was no internet and fewer channels. When it came to entertainment, people had far less variety and choice than compared to today. WCW had to do the nWo and Hogan turning heel to spark the business back to the mainstream. WWF then rode that wave and had Austin and Vince to rival them and take over later on. WWE, AEW, TNA etc. cannot have anything like that now and its due to how fragmented people can be. Streaming platforms have movies, shows, documentaries, anime, wrestling and more alone. Then you have video games, streamers, music, reading. Try and get people to sit down for two hours to watch fake fighters be fake tough guys. Its not happening. Rock coming back as the Final Boss bumped things but not to Attitude levels.
I love wrestling. It's the world's most entertaining sport.
>>20551422retards have been saying that "wrestling is.... LE DED!" forever. It's the same as THE WEST HAS FALLEN meme
>>20553882>There was no internet, video games, movies or anime in the mid 90'sI hate zoomers so much, man.
>>20551422Nah sorry pal World Wrestling Entertainment is presently more successful than ever before
>>20555591but both are true tholook at the 90s west/wrestling and compared it to todayyou can easily tell this is a dead civilization
