What Meltzer rating do you think this would have got if it actually took place? I'm thinking about 3.5 or 3.75 stars according to what he would rate things at the time.

The more I age the more I realize how odd that they managed to put an entire no crowd show together complete with highlights and recaps while only knowing the day of.

>i-its just a good production team
Absolutely not.
The sheer chaos alone have no to reschedule around cancelling all tickets to the show that day.
They knew
They planned

Never get the oddity of a no-crowd tribute show done the day the company found out about his death. This is a very very odd piece that sits at the surface. The interviews, the editing.
Absolutely not.
A crowd should have been there.
There should have been matches in honor.
Everything done here is a big “we knew and got ready”

>I have absolutely zero knowledge about television production
>>
>>20556350
Fuck you, asshole.
There is no reason to cancel the show if they didn’t know.
They would have needed a day just to scrounge through his historical footage for a best of.
They supposedly knew of Benoit’s death that day, not even the circumstances.
No reason to remove the whole crowd.
They knew.

>its just a good production team
it's literally just this, 2000's WWE was S-tier when it came to adapting and improvising
sorry your conspiracy theory doesn't check out tho

It is the result of a production team that has prepared for far longer than a few hours.

>Vince McMahon first learned that Chris Benoit and his family were dead on Monday, June 25, 2007, at approximately 4:00 PM EDT.

Absolutely not.
Not in an hour.
This is far beyond just a good production team.
We had a show continue with a man murdered in the ring and the show becoming a crime scene.
Mr show must go on himself canceling a show.

It will always be an odd piece
You will grow up and realize that one day too.

Then around the 2nd hour of Raw, the news dropped that Benoit killed his family, so the episode pivoted into airing matches from WrestleMania 23
>>
>>20556479
Except that’s not what happened at all and the entire night were prepared interviews, matches, career highlights, and and tribute videos
All while having cancelled thousands of people’s tickets an hour before start time.

It’s not happening. Too much chaos.
Vince knew.
>>
ok i'll bite. let's say vince did purposely honor and tribute this killer. then why if he's so gung ho on benoit, does wwe continue to block any benoit footage even on their new vault and wcw youtube channels?
if vince still secretly liked benoit and didn't care about him killing, he would've put him in the HOF. and never banned his footage
