>two fat guys doing nothing but character work and taking two bumps made a MSG crowd absolutely lose their shit
Why can’t smarks understand that this is what wrestling is supposed to be? Normal people don’t want to watch two twinks sawdust their necks for star ratings. These guys tore the house down and probably didn’t even break a sweat.

This is what I've been saying. Bring back the fat, disgusting, sweaty old bastards who in some cases barely even looked human. It's more of a spectacle than watching people who look like athletes. I want to see these mutant old fucks mangling each other on barbwire, biting each other for real and stabbing each other with hepatitis laced forks.
>>
>>20559195
It is I, sir not a smark, here to talk about bumps and character work during the fake fight
>>
>>20559249
>why can’t I just be 12 forever
As an incel you kind of will
>>

Modern wrestlers are to blame a lot as well. Imagine if Abdullah the Butcher had a Twitter or hosted livestreams of himself playing video games or unboxing toys. It would have killed his career. I don’t want my wrestlers to be real people. I want them to be mythical larger than live beings.

Most of the people going nuclear for that match were adults. Stop thinking about children and try again, cripple.
>>
>>20559326
It's sadly lost to time how much more mainstream pro wrestling was in the 80s and even before then apparently. Literally even my grandma would watch and knew who everyone was.
>>
>>20559326
Still waiting for you to talk about literally anything in the match you personally enjoyed besides the crowd being a normal 1986 crowd
>>
>>20559300
Nobody born after the 90's will ever understand how popular wrestling used to be desu

>Still waiting for you to talk about literally anything in the match you personally enjoyed
Why?
>a normal 1986 crowd
Wrestling was a whole shitload more engaging in 1986 than it is now, which is why people got so invested in it they'd go ballistic for one fat fuck stomping on the toes of another fat fuck. They weren't blown away by the concept of toe stomping. They cheered because they loved to see a mutant freak they liked fuck up a mutant freak they didn't like. Now wrestling is poorly coordinated twinks doing awkward gymnastics and shitty Bret Hart larps and nobody outside of a small niche cares anymore because it's all so boring. And the one wrestler to make the biggest splash in over a decade is Danhausen and he didn't do it with movez or Meltzer stars, he did it by being a freak people can invest in. Lessons should be learned from this.

There are actual forums where you could discuss what you enjoy about the match but instead you’re just bitching about other matches today because you’re a disingenuous boring poser

Kek you're so mad that modern wrestling sucks. Fat old George Steele stomping on Kamala's foot gets a bigger pop than Ospreay doing a 1080 senton because wrestling now is just shitty performance art performed by boring homosexuals and scrawny redditors. That shit is impossible to get invested in. People say the marks are in the ring, but no it's worse, the theater kids are in the ring.

>>20559890
>Cant talk about a 1986 Kamala match without mentioning Ospreay
Hey smark
>>
>>20559921
>can't talk about how a 1986 Kamala match is better than an Ospreay match without a smark seething
Hey smark

GREAT match

What do these guys have that Mason lacks?
>>
>>20561066
Rook's definitely got a ton. Could go far but I think he needs a little more character. Turn the fat zoomer thing up a notch.
>>
>>20561066
They're characters. Mason is just some guy.

Based. Only Kane looks somewhat like a normal human.

This is only good when there is one match like this on the card.
