What was the first match you ever saw?
>>20559198A full match? Probably edge and Kelly Kelly vs Dolph and laycool
>>20559198wow, she really enjoyed that
>>20559198Fuck if I can remember. Some WWF Saturday morning matxh back in the 80s. Probably some Hogan match.
>>20559231I want to party with her and have a one night standShe'll fall in love but sadly I'm already promised to someone else
A tag team match on I assume RAW is WAR with Steven Blackman in it, I know that because when I properly got into wrestling a couple of years later I recognizes his black pants and beard. I don't know who else was in it.
First match? No idea. It would have been some random Nitro or RAW match. I was too young to remember anything that was going on other than Austin stunning everyone and the WCW ring getting filled with garbage when NWO was in the ring. The event that made me follow wrestling on a weekly basis was WM19. We had a zapped DirecTV box and my uncle wanted to watch Mania so we watched it at our house and I was hooked.
my nephew learned about prowrestling from TikTok
>>20559198Started watching in 2002, first I recall would have been some combination of Eddie and Benoit vs maybe Edge and someone else. I know Mysterio debuted only a few weeks after I started watching, I remember his vignettes airing (and that my brother who had a habit of mishearing something once then immediately clinging to that maintaining his name was "Disterio", along with Brock Lester and Paul Haven).
Can't remember the first match i've ever watched however one of my earliest wrestling memories was watching kane light jr's ass on fire and jr was like AWWWWWWUGH! AWWWWWWUGH! scared the fuckin shit out of me
Funny story, i saw gameplay of the Undertaker vs Mankind HIAC match in WWE '13 Attitude Era mode and was like "no way that shit really happened, the game is probably exaggerating it". Then i went on to watch the actual match and my jaw dropped.
That’s impossible to remember you fucking retard. Why would you ask that?
>>20559198Earliest I can think of is a 2000's TNA match where Jeff Hardy does a swanton bomb off the stage, or at least the clipped version of that spot. Would have seen it on YouTube sometime between 2008-2009 so I'd have been 10 or 11
>>20559312>That’s impossible to rememberNo it isn't. Why would it be "impossible"?
>>20559312>>20559369There's 2 kinds of anons itt. Ones who were too young to know better. And AEW fans who were grown ass adult virgins when they got into prowrestling.
>>20559360Looked it up and it was definitely this match, probably going to be nostalgic as hell watching thishttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypu7qqULyYk
>>20559312There was a time when you did not watch wrestling and a time when you did. So when did it start? It's not hard.
>>20559378>Ones who were too youngI do remember the first match I saw. I already gave it in the thread. I have a specific memory about it, and how my interaction with wrestling went afterward. We don't all have soup for brains.
Something involving the New Day and the League of Nations on Raw in 2016
>>20559507>I do remember the first match I saw.Yeah you were 24 years old living at home with your parents and we don't care you retard faggot zoomer.
>>20559527No, I was 8, you idiot.
>>20559527>>20559378>>20559312>contributes nothing>whines about everything
>>20559539no that's u
>>20559198I don't remember
>>20559527>weI notice you haven't given any answer yourself.
>>20559198I love this dummy like you wouldn't believe. Which isn't a lot, but I think she's a cute brainlet womanlet who deserves hard anal
>>20559198Stone Cold vs Kane on RAW when he won the WWF title back after the First Blood match. I didn't know about pinfalls, only submissions because that's all my dad mentioned explaining rules, so when he hooked the leg at the end I thought that was the submission and thought it didn't look that painful.
Some of my earliest wrestling memories include Big Poppa Pump, The Kiss my Ass club, that pirate guy, various Hurricane shenanigans. Also like a weird looking black superman guy.
>>20559198I know it involved Shawn Michaels, and he was in the white and red tights, it may have had Undertaker, but that might have been a separate one amalgamated in my own memories. I didn't start watching regularly for long after that but I recognized Shawn from back then even though I didn't know many wrestlers other than Rock and Austin, and Undertaker. And Doink, but that was from seeing one of the video games on the SNES at some point.
>>20559584Thea is not for lewding
>>20559198she cute
>>20559378I was adult and cant recall it. It must be 2011 maybe some ppv
would've been some random squash on Superstars or a similar show. earliest memory is Big Boss Man squashing a jobber so i'll go with that.
I'm old and started watching pro-wrasslin when I was just a kid so I don't remember the exact match but my oldest memories are of 80's Hogan.
>>20559198I remember being really into RVD, Kurt Angle, Edward Guerrero and
Chris Benoit
but wrestling was sort of just always on growing up, I'd been watching it for years before I even had concrete memories.
>>20559198https://youtu.be/9g7wAsYnK9g?
>>20559198>>20559656looks like a boy>>20559250awoooga! now that's a woman
>>20560586A cute boy :3
My first exposure to pro wrestling was watching Tigermask(the anime not the wrestler) since I was like 5, my dad liked HnK and tigermask aired on the same channel right after so we watched both together every nightThe first actual wrestling I watched was a wcw vhs my dad bought me because I liked tigermask so much(there was no wrestling on free tv at the time in italy) I don't remember who was in the first match but I'm pretty sure at least one was a lucha with some cool mask, I do remember sting was in the main event and won. I've never been able to find which event it was idk if it was a random nitro or a ppv, I only remember there where stack of hay around and sting an his opponent where fighting in it so it might have been some wild west themed event.
Idk earthquake maybe
>>20560627Replying to myself cause I've found it, it was Spring Stampede 98 although Sting lost it's interesting that I had no memory of the overbooked finish, the guy with the cool mask was ultimo dragon but he was in the second match, the first match I ever saw is Goldberg vs Perry Saturn apparently
>>20559244pretty much the same i cant remember it was probably someone who was in the company around 1985 wrestling some jobber. I was probably looking for more Saturday morning cartoons.
>>20559198Lilo & Stitch lookin ass
>>20559198Hogan getting killed by Earthquake
>>20559378TROOOOOTH NUUUUUUKE
late 80s or early 90s. golden wwf era. The Ultimate Challenge, i remember that so that might've been the first one or the first really big major match i saw. first actual match would've been something minor like maybe a Dusty Rhodes or Superfly Jimmy Snuka squash match or something like that. those are the guys that got me into it along with Million Dollar Man and Jake the Snake. had the Hulk Hogan and Warrior buddies. and the Hasbros. the first Hasbros I got were Hogan and Ravishing Rick Rude
>>20559198Abu Zago vs Napo Zeno, saw it through my uncle's Hubble Telescope.
>>20559198Christian vs Trish Stratus on RAW
>>20560586She doesn't look remotely boyish.
>>20559198Something on Smackdown in mid 2002, I came in at a great time for that brand.
>>20559198Glacier vs some jobber on WCW Saturday night. First ppv I watched was World War 3 on tape. I rented it from Blockbuster not understanding how ppvs and buildups worked and thought they were just big standalone event shows you could just get on video.
>>20559198I started watching in summer 2005 after the draft, so it was probably a Raw or SD taping. So the first match likely would have been some midcard match featuring a guy like Carlito or Christian.
Probably some midcard match from early 2001. Maybe something with Taker or Booker.
