>>
>>20560738
Twitter doesn't exist anymore, it's been called X for almost three years
>>
>>20560744
I like how every news article says X (formerly known as Twitter) every time even though they don’t do that with any other company, ever.
And yet when Prince Andrew was stripped of titles, they made sure to use Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and never would say (formerly Prince Andrew) next to it.

I was there.
>Brock was friendly and joking with people in the line
>everyone got a handshake or a hug and a thank you from Brock. He spent a little too much time visiting with the fans which made the line move extra slow compared to at a formal signing event
>everyone got both an autograph and a standing photo (choice of selfie or portrait style photo from an attendant)
>eventually they made it photo only to save time, but he still signed stuff for kids
>they gave out free pulled pork as you exited
>it turned out Brock was there at 9am and was the one who brought the meat and cooked it in the smoker (he is a BBQ enthusiast)
>several thousand people in line at its peak, and the RCMP came and shut down the service road and turned away hundreds more
>Brock personally bought all the water from the hardware store and it was given out to the people lined up outside
>36c (97F) in the shade and the store workers handed out the water saying "this is from Brock, not the store"
>it was all free (food, drinks, autograph and photo)

Brock had to catch his flight to italy that evening sonthey had to cut it off at 6, and I was right there when they said they would have to rurn away the last 500 people. Brock asked "is there anything we can do for them?" And seemed genuinely disapponted for letting them down.

You always hear stories that he was anti-social but this was just a friendly man at a big neighbourhood BBQ. He seemed to be having a really good time.

He doesnt ever do this, which made it such a surprise. Hes lived in saskatchewan for 18 years and this was his first public appearance.
According to the doorman at the entrance of the hardware store, people drove in from Alberta, manitoba and some Americans from Montana and the Dakotas drove up for the meet and greet. Some drove 8 hours to get there.

It is extremely out of character for him.

ya just can't hate the alpha male of our species
>>
>>20562097
Cus he is working. Brock always down in work hours, he just wants to be left the fuck alone in his downtime. It’s always been sensible, and he doesn’t beat up fans like CM punk since he would kill them.

>actually calling it x

Local news article on the event. They interviewed a kid in a danhausen shirt. There were multiple danhausen shirts there on an unrelated note.

>>
>>20562097
I imagine all the stories you hear about him being a grumpy jerk are from times where people just come up to him on the street or when he's with his family.
>>
Did he piss on the legal females?
>>
Wreddit nimbys...
I thought Brock was problematic........
>>
>>20562518
He didnt get along well with wrestlers or fans early on, that much is certain. In his youth other wrestlers described him as a very private introvert. I knew someone who wrestled with him in North Dakota (before he moved back to minnesota he was im Bismarck in the late 90s). They said he was just a big shy farm kid back then and that likely carried on through his early WWE run.

In more recent interviews he decribed himself as a very late bloomer socially and he got over his social anxiety much later in life. Being a "hockey dad" in saskatchewan probably helped him with that.
