Genuine kino meme magic. Absolutely in awe of how perfectly this played out.>>20564287Will do!
>>20564287Here's one.
>>20564289I was falling asleep watching the show (show wasn't boring it was just late at night and I was comfy) but this shit popped my ass awake. Unreal
>>20564334And two!
This rocks. These two match up really well, HoT memery or not.
BASED mayor of Headlock Country
Add this to the list of insanely based rare finishes from the new generation guys. I love this stuff, it boosts their power level and protects their actual finishing moves.
>>20564148me arriving for the Champion Carnival Final webms
>>20564289Hyo has been fun to have aroundI feel like I'd get tired of his nonsense if he was here all the time but for one off tours like this hes done well
>>20564567Happy to have you here, SankanCHAD>>20564587I can't pretend to be the most experienced, but I think he works better in DG. I get that he's mostly just a shock comedy act and that the appeal is him being a weirdo to people who don't know him, but I think his wrestling in itself works better in DG where people are a bit more in-tune with him. I'm not a huge fan to begin with but I do agree that a lot of the interactions he's had has been charming.
HELL yeah Taguchi.
The REAL hair vs. hair match.
I'm still waiting on my download of BOSJ day 9 to finish, so that'll have to wait until tomorrow! Next up is DDT's Dramatic Dreams! Vol.13 ~The Spirit Resides in the East — Protecting You from Afar~. Really rolls off the tongue.
This dropkick is so good.
For such a goofy spot I think this is set up really, really well.
This rocks. Can't remember the last time I saw a cobra clutch suplex.
Next up's the Champion Carnival finals!>>20564567WAKE UP
>>20565260Kikuta is so damn good in this "if you're so good then why haven't you beat me yet?" position. Shiozaki is practically injured before the match starts and Kikuta is still being an asshole about it.
>hey what's up guys HipAttackMaster1999 here and today we're gonna be doing the "turning this old man's chest to mush" challenge
I totally get why Kikuta couldn't win this, but man, I was holding out hope for a rematch against Suzuki the entire time. I still think Shiozaki winning is the RIGHT choice.
Given the very unfortunate injuries this year, I doubt this semis match was planned from the beginning, but there's at least one guy who was happy to see his favorite surprise match from last year get a repeat.
>>20565260hell yeah >>20565450I respect them for not trying to drag this match out, just get it done and move on with the show. Seems pretty obvious it was supposed to be Anzai facing Suzuki here.>>20565420>I still think Shiozaki winning is the RIGHT choiceI thought for sure he was winning the whole thing after this and then Suzuki's easy win over Rei
This is a real good one.>>20565530>I respect them for not trying to drag this match out, just get it done and move on with the showIt plays well into the theme of resilience vs. injury in the main event, too, plus the obvious mirror to last year's semis.>I thought for sure he was winning the whole thing after this and then Suzuki's easy win over ReiI did too, but I think that makes the finals upset all the more impactful, and I personally don't think Suzuki winning is a bad thing at all, even separated from how much of a mark for the guy I am.
BASED IDOL PLAYER
Really cool opening, sets the tone really nicely.
>>20565737This whole sequence is so fucking good. The midsection is my favorite bodypart to base a match around and Suzuki's a fucking DEMON when he smells blood in the water.
>>20565568>don't think Suzuki winning is a bad thing at allYeah I don't either. Especially given that they had to call an audible without Anzai. In that first instant when it happened though I was definitely disappointed. It'd be nice if Go gets a shot a Kikuta's belt in DG now at least but I don't know how much they honor that tradition.>>20565787he's a great bully
>>20565824>In that first instant when it happened though I was definitely disappointedI can't say I was, but like I said, I'm a huge mark for him. It really felt like either man could win, especially considering they had to be steering in the booking with Anzai out, which is a nice feeling, injury aside. I do really hope Shiozaki gets a challenge too, DG has historically been very good with company interplay like that..>he's a great bullyMaybe the best working today, I think. He's terribly underrated in my opinion. Definitely one of my favorite active wrestlers.
BASED BABAIST
Such an insanely good conversion. So very CATCH. So awesome.
>TWO (2) new variations of this move in one matchIt's like Christmas for me and me alone. And God DAMN does this shit have to hurt.
I remember thinking "the second Suzuki hits a body blow this match is over" at the start of this match and, in hindsight, I guess I was right. This spot still owns though.
This pedigree rocks.
>>20564289Always love watching fans reactions, all the front row fujoshis marked out
God bless Shiozaki and his brittle-boned nose.
Such a good finish. I really like the strike setup and the "capture" verision of the butterfly suplex is a perfect finisher.
I'm gonna close out with a (partial) walk down the King's Road! I have to leave fairly early today, so I don't expect to finish this match, but what I can't post today I will post tomorrow. This is Kawada, Taue & Inoue vs. Kobashi, Akiyama & Shiga from 16.01.1999!
This rocks so much.
>>20566376>>20564148Haha still in time for the best thread of the week!
This match quickly devolves into something extremely hilarious. It's like Kobashi and Akiyama are in the corner with a hidden mic in Shiga's ear, Impractical Jokers-style, convincing him to commit suicide by veteran wrestler.>>20566432Happy to see you, brother. You're gonna have to carry us for a good while today, I'm going to need the hot tag in just a second and don't expect me back up on the apron until my usual time tomorrow night.
>>20566466As I've just woken up me and the other usual members of the BumpchadGang will be glad to take over
>we're gonna act like we want you to tag out but you should just refuse it and attack him again>it'll be hilarious bro trust meComedy gold. That'll be it for me for today! Tomorrow I'll have day 9 of the BOSJ, the start of my coverage of GLEAT's G-CLASS tournament and the rest of this King's Road match, at the very least. As always, it's been a pleasure to host. I'll see you all tomorrow! Goodnight, bros.>>20566484I knew I could count on you. Thank you for your service, bumpCHAD.

>>20566064damn he was laying those in. I guess he was the whole match but you can really see it when Go's back is against the mat.>>20566253so smooth. kino visual at the beginning too
Alright, so I mentioned several threads ago that I was starting to archive the matches I really like and you guys gave me helpful advice, so I gotta come with another question. How do you guys capture video from VK specifically? I was using an extension called Video Download Helper and it worked initially, but now it won't detect any video from VK (but still works fine for YouTube and Daily Motion). I've tried several different extensions on Chrome and Firefox but nothing is actually capturing video appropriately for my purposes. I used an extension called Video Downloader Plus on Chrome and it did capture the audio and video of a VK download but it won't let me skip ahead through the video which makes it functionally worthless because its a 2 hour long AJPW show that I am trying to edit down. This has me concerned because VK seems to be the primary repository of 00s-10s BJW and Zero1 shows which I think largely aren't even archived on their official services as far as I can tell.
>>20568478I've never used VK(and am not familiar with the acronym), can you post a link so I can check something? I might have a solution for you
>>20568602https://vksport.vkvideo.ru/video-5899799_456240950?pl=-5899799_35132936It's a Russian site analogous to YouTube. There's tons of blatant piracy of fairly obscure to the Anglosphere wrestling and combat sports on there.
>>20568645Ok yeah my hunch was right, install yt-dlp (https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/wiki/Installation) and you can grab videos from there. After you get it set up (chocolatey on windows is decent) you should be able to just do yt-dlp URL from your terminal/powershell and youll be good to go. it might fail if you include ?pl value, so just make sure you have a clean link to the page. if you've never used a command line tool before just be patient, once it clicks it clicks forever
I'm back! Thank you all for keeping us bumped. Here's BOSJ day 9!>>20568006>damn he was laying those in.No kidding. In fairness, it's Suzuki, so it's not like he's ever NOT laying it in, but still. I feel like elbows like that either hurt like crazy or it's one of those weird things in wrestling where it looks far worse than it is.>>20568478What the other anon said is what I do. I use yt-dlp for VK, though that site is easily the most finnicky out of the bunch. Make sure you change your retry limit (add "--retries infinite" at the end of your command) because the connections tend to be pretty rocky, when the links decide to be available at all, that is. On top of all that, I think it's also throttled in some way because downloads take AGES. ...And then there's the whole thing with some channels being hidden... But it does work, you just need to iron out more kinks than most websites.
Basef
Slick.
>>20568478>>20568645I just pasted that link into jdownloader and was able to download the video no problem.
>>20570010jdownloader official site was hacked last week so double check it's good if anybody's trying it for the first time
KILL HIM TOP GUY
For once the messy camerawork really helps. Taguchi's out of frame just long enough to transform into anti-air mode.
I cannot fucking BELIEVE we lost, Titanbros.
I know this isn't a plancha, but come on. What else would I call it? Tailbone Exploder Drop?
I don't normally care for poison ranas, but I like how messy this one is.
The only cutter I respect.
Next up's GLEAT's G-CLASS tournament! This is the first show from 5.13.
>>20570580God damn look at ZONES' fat ass
Christ.
Christ (2)
CHRIST. (3)
Hard to not love a good "based retards who are also friends" match.
Lindaman's German voted #1 move of all time every year
>>20571790little big nigga moment
>>20571902The top of the class.
This landing is fucking HIDEOUS.
This is a fun spit sell.
God damn.
Brutal. Thank God Ishida was fine, but it alwatts sucks to have a match end without everyone walking out on their own.
There's something really funny about these super safe strikes followed by a murder lariat.
Ouch.
Close enough, welcome back Taichi vs. Kota Ibushi (16.10.2020, NJPW G1 Climax 30)
First two rounds of the G-CLASS really delivered, in my opinion. GLEAT has a solid lineup of singles guys and just putting them together like this really reminds me of the first year in the company, which is a hugely good thing to me. I especially liked getting a peek at the rare big match Sakamoto, which is always a treat. Ishida vs. T-HAWK should make for a good finals matchup, though I really didn't expect them to be the finalists. I was sure there would be at least one upset finalist after both Yamamura and Kawakami made it past the first round.
Like promised yesterday, here's the second half of that King's Road match! And Shiga's still going.
*BOWS DOWN TO THE**BOWS DOWN TO THE GOAT OF TAG TEAM COMBOS*
HUGE POO
Such a good spot.
I really like this combo.
That's all for me for this week! Next time I'll see you all will be in two weeks, as I'm away next weekend. I'll be covering the rest of the BOSJ for that thread, but that's all I know for sure I'll be watching until then. I'm sure I'll come across something else too, we'll see. Thank you all for spending some time in my thread! I'll see you all again soon. Goodnight, bros.
>>20576037thank you webmbro
>>20564148webm bump
>>20568961>>20569895I've heard of yt-dlp before, but the github intimidated me when I looked. Maybe I'll have to tough it out and figure out how to use it. However, it seems like I'm able to download some but not all VK videos with Video DownloadHelper this morning so we'll see how that goes.
