I love Grande but he needs at least some movies. WWE can make it happen if they are really committed to surpassing Santo.

If I was Telewila or TV Azteca I would be already asking WWE for El Grande to make some kino movies about him fighting monsters

Lucha libre is not popular like that anymore, neither is Mexican cinema. The golden age is over. Mexican zoomers only care about Fortnite, TikTok, and sometimes anime, and the Mexican boomers, idk, I’ve seen some watch YouTube, and others like my mother watch Turkish and Korean dramas dubbed in Spanish

santo is only known for movies, he's even worse than the rock.
at least the rock has matches you can watch. and a few of them are even good.

Not yet, the gay of mistico is still bigger, but EGA is a close second, but where mistico's popularity lies in nostalgia baiting, grande's popularity lies in recency bias.

might check it out. if it's good it will be the first good movie ever in the spanish language that i know of. mexico generally does not make good movies. i guess their wrestling is ok but not as good as usa, canada or japan.

The government recently started investing in the movie industry again like they did back in the day, so we’ll see how that works out in the next couple of years

Msitico became famous in dramas so do Mexican dramas
