>had a stacked card >looked more promising that night 1 wrestlemaniaI havent seen a thread yet discussing this PLE as a whole. What did we think? Did it live up to expectations? How would we rate it?
>>20600607I didn’t watch
>>20600607i was out of town for my birthday and missed it. is it worth watching or should i just skip?

>>20600607It was fine, it had a big match feel with big names despite what smarktubers and reddit said.

>>20600607>5 matches>3 longest matches were Coconut Soap Opera Part 143 and 2 womeme matchesAnyone who books, supports, or praises this slop should be booked in a one-match PLE spectacular "Kill Fest At Kemper" where they spend three hours dressing these people up as the Blue Blazer and throwing them off the rafters.
>>20601826>FatuHe's winning at SS
>>20602206FUCKING BASED, WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE.

My review:>Cody v GuntherUnderwhelming and forgettable. This was the ESPN “check us out” free preview, and to anyone watching for the first time, the (likely) intentional controversial “ref missed the foot under the rope” ending looked like —at best— an anticlimactic wet fart, and —at worst— an embarrassing botch. The booking decision to keep Gunther strong with a purposely controversial ending was a bad choice, IMO.>Rhea v JadeI’m officially done with Rhea. I mean this as kindly as I can say it: she fucking sucks now. Her deterioration over the last ~18 months has been shocking to watch. She’s worse in literally every area (character, aura, physically, mic, in-ring). I seriously don’t even enjoy watching her matches anymore. And Jade hasn’t seemed to improve much. Heading into WM, this was the best possible women’s match you could build. Now it’s just fizzled out due mostly to boring, uninspired performances. Sad.>Brock v ObaThis was fine. It was a quick barrage of finishers and bashing that served its obvious purposes of 1) getting Oba’s loss out of the way, and 2) setting up Part 3 at some point. >Sol v BeckySol isn’t ready yet. Becky ran rings around her in terms of in-ring performance, selling, and pacing. The difference between veteran and rookie was noticeable. Sol will probably be fine, but she looks timid and stiff, like she’s in her own head. Any time I’ve heard her talk, she also just seems like she’s playing herself and not even trying to explore an exaggerated character. >Roman v JacobEasily the best actual wrestling match of the night, with a satisfying story progression, particularly the decision to have Solo and MFT there for the “choose your path” moment they gave Jacob. Jacob also did a solid job telling the story with his facial expressions. He and Jey are both good at that.Overall, I think my takeaway was: disappointment, lol
>>20602360Not OP but I truly appreciate your post, I didnt want to waste my time watching. Thank you for taking the time to do this and making the board better. I'm going to bed now, hope you have a good night.
I watched triple a the night before instead. Was a great show btw
All downhill after Cody and Gunther's match
>>20600662Based Elena main. I main Zangief but I’m learning Ingrid right now
Lost to double or nothing
>>20600607Barely anyone on this board watches WWE now kek
Was in a great mood for wrestling after Americano v Americano and I always like hot crowds But right off the gate, absolutely deflating first match, the finish was complete bullshit and the match was way too short, awful fucking shitKinda lost interest after that, skipped Rhea/Jade, came back right on time for Brock/Oba, which was alright, but I didn't get into itBecky / Sol was way too long, Becky is legit terribleRoman Fatu was promising but ended up boring as fuck, Fatu should have won or at least have a more contested finishThe crowd was awesome though and the show wasn't horrible, just average, with a really shitty first match between two guys I was quite hyped for
>>20600607One of the best. Very high on my list
>>20600607Didn't watch but based off of what I've heard they're doing bloodline shit again with roman, probably hoping to set up for the rock match for saudimania next yearI'll probably watch that, Rock vs Roman is the last match wwe can do before it fully dies
>>20603249Rock/Roman doesn't have the same appeal it would have had a few years back. Ideally they would have done it at WM39 in Hollywood. Roman wins and Cody would chase for the year, remaining undefeated so their clash at WM40 would be truly epic.
>>20600708And yet nothing happened on it, which is something everyone knew.
>>20600607>Did it live up to expectations? You tell me.
>>20602360>>Sol v Becky>Sol isn’t ready yet. Becky ran rings around her in terms of in-ring performance, selling, and pacing. The difference between veteran and rookie was noticeable.
