When she was coming up especially around 2018 she had a chip on her shoulder about proving herself and being in the top spot ahead of Charlotte and Ronda for being a nepobaby and celebrity import. She got her face broken and shrugged it off with swagger, doing something very, very few modern wrestlers can do - improvise and literally roll with the punches. She didn't crumble or cry about her nose or resolutely try to follow the plan while bleeding everywhere, she went with what happened in the moment.

99% of "genuine and organic hype" is literally just wrestlers & bookers reacting to the crowd reaction. You might have a long-term booking plan & idea of how to get there but you should NEVER insist on sticking to it at all costs whether that be the booking outline, promo script, or match script. You should always be listening to reactions, reacting to reactions, improvising around mistakes.

Becky's lost her aura and become a drag on people because once she got to the top, she didn't need to be the hungry talent constantly on edge looking for an opportunity to make the most of, but she kept the chip on her shoulder anyway. She's not the most athletic (look at her leadarse legdrop), she's got got huge in-ring range, she's not the most snug, crisp or tight worker (see >>20630573 & >>20632132), she's not a great promo if it's scripted or playing a character removed from herself.
She's someone who needs to be 100% on it and have a fire lit under her arse because she does best when she's got something to prove/lose IRL and is hungry enough to be in the zone reacting in the moment. She relies on that hungry chip-on-shoulder charisma which feels abrasive/insincere when she's when she's comfortable, which she has been since coming back from mat leave. When her focus is more on protecting her spot/keeping what she has than claiming a spot, she doesn't have that edge and her flaws creep in and those flaws tend to drag the other person down.
