Why did X-Pac betray his NWO BROTHERS?
Should they have come back to put over NWO 2020?
>>20667849Do you think X-Pac let Chyna fuck him in the ass with her clit-dick? I feel like he's the sort that would ask for it.
>>20668185This lineup would have been DOA.nWo needs to have a lot of star power in addition to being dangerous. Syxx was the exception since they needed someone to eat pins, but Syxx did have the right sort of attitude. But the other three were already recognized stars, Hogan being the most recognized star in the entire business, but both Nash and Hall were big stars if WWF too.nWo in 2020 would need at least one big established star (they didn't have Punk yet, but Edge might have worked). Then the other two could have been like Orton and Styles. Then round you could round it out with a respectable job guy with attitude like Nakamura or Ziggler. Not saying it would have been good though. Those were probably the best options back in 2020, unless you want to pretend Cena would have returned from being a part timer to turn heel and lead the faction, but we all know that would have flopped too now that we've seen heel Cena.
It was always baffling that WWE tried to present X-Pac as a relevant NWO member. Like yeah it's obviously because his Kliq buddy was making the decisions but that's not at all how it went. He wasn't the fourth member. He wasn't the fourth important member. He was just there like half the guys. Big Show was actually a much more relevant NWO member and he would have also been right there.
>>20668219Cena is much better as a heel than as a face and could have easily made it work if given the chance.
>>20667843Kevin Nash 5 star retirement match
>>20668262We saw how badly a Cena heel turn fumbled. Cena is capable of playing a heel but WWE won't commit to it. They view Cena as too marketable for that. I agree in a perfect world, Cena would work in a revamped nWo, but I just don't think Vince or Haitch/Nick would ever let it happen.>>20668253This is revisionist history. Syxx was an important member of the nWo back in WCW. His role as the amateur cameraman in particular helped form part of the nWo aesthetic and he worked well as a smaller heel that can get sneaky victories by relying on his teammates. Plus Syxx gave the nWo a way to be competitive in the Cruiserweight division, which was necessary for the nWo's original goal of taking over WCW as a company and capturing all the belts.
>>20668665The revisionist history is that anyone cared about X-Pac. He's quite literally less important and less prolific to the NWO image as a wrestler than that Nascar guy or Dennis Rodman.I didn't know that he did camera work and ideas so if that's true I'll give him that. But if you rate them based on that he'd still be below Bischoff as an NWO member...
>>20667843X-Pac dying
>>20668677For starters, X-Pac is a gimmick. X-Pac was very over when he first joined WWF in 1998. Yeah it didn't last, but X-Pac was easily more over than Triple H when DX first reformed after HBK "retired".As for Syxx, based on your posts, it's clear to me that you didn't even watch WCW at the time. Syxx fit perfectly with the original group. The Giant, on the other hand, didn't fit well with them. Yes, he is huge and intimidating, but he couldn't talk at all and didn't really know how to get heat back then. He didn't have the personality either. That's why he was kicked out. He was just too green.
>>20668741>X-Pac was easily more over than Triple H when DX first reformed True but mostly because he did the jump.I didn't watch at the time but I've watched most of the war era afterwards and to me it's obvious that X-Pac was never presented as an important part of the group, he didn't join with the first ones and there were several higher pushed and more important people. Opinion about him belonging into the group is more about personal tastes but I considered the Nascar guy belonging into there more and he was obviously considered more important.
>>20668773Chyna and the Outlaws were also more over than HHH. The Outlaws were probably more over than him until fall of 1999.
>>20668794That's kinda just obviously true.
Ted Di Biase is the fourth member of the NWO and I'm sick of hearing otherwise.
>>20667843>Hulk Hogan's future Burning in hell forever brother
>>20667843Shemus apparently
>>20668219>nWo needs to have a lot of star power in addition to being dangerous. The last chance to have an orgnaic nWo type faction and make it actually work was when Danielson and Punk signed with AEW. They could've formed a heel trio with Mox and been the WWE clique winning all the belts and holding down the AEW guys. But of course Tony fumbled.
>>20669229>>20668219the last NWO style faction that actually “worked” was the Main Event Mafia
>>20669245Main Event Mafia didn't work. It was actually quite fucking shit.>>20669261I thought they already did that?
>>20667843What’s the Hulkster up to these days?
>>20668185Whatever happened to Lars Sullivan?
>>20668773>>20668773You just said you didn't watch so why are you talking nonsense? Waltman was very important, and as soon as he joined Nash and Hall started slightly separating themselves from Hogan and the greater NWO as the Wolfpac. When Nash initially started feuding with Hogan and Bischoff for missing shows and Dennis Rodman, shit like that, Waltman was the one positioned at his side as the second in charge, because Hall was out. This was like a year and a half before the actual red and black wolfpac even existed
>>20669276Wouldn't work for the same reason it kinda works in theory. Austin and Goldberg were successful because they were cool to kids and young teens. A "real wrestler" would just be another unc if you position him against all the kids' favorite Internet personalities.
>>20667843Hold on.....That guy with the long hair. I've seen him somewhere.
