>[Fightful]: Tessa Blanchard has been granted her release from TNA.
>>
Things really have to be bad behind the scenes if all of these people are asking for releases.
>>
Tessa is a pretty lady. shame about her being a hardcore racist
>>

What's wrong with being racist?
>>

Maybe now she’ll go to OF and show those new tits

What the fuck is going on with TNA

Based, she was wasting her time there

TNA fucking sucks.

Do any of you guys wait for a link (proof)?

Hope she makes it to WWE this time

will tna hire based indie retards to fill out the roster?
>>
She will probably sign with CMLL. They don't have a problem signing people that AEW won't use. They signed Flip Gordan.

Alright, I'm done with TNA.
>>
It feels like in a couple months they'll have to shut TNA down just because nobody's fucking left.
>>
>>20668413
She has been working with CMLL this whole time.
That's the problem, WWE told TNA to block her from doing it.

And her made the normal decision
>>
>>20668371
There was a report about a week ago that TNA had a problem with Tessa wrestling in CMLL, and specifically her wrestling Persephone because she also wrestles in AEW.
>>
>>20668441
You don't know if that's the case. AEW poached a bunch of TNA wrestlers as soon as their TV deal started. For all we know Carlos made the call himself. He's said that he's the one who made the call to not allow Nic Nemeth to wrestle MJF at that indie show.
>>
Why are they granting the releases though?
>>
Who's in worse shape now, TNA or WhoJapan?
>>
>>20668373
>Tessa is a pretty lady.

probably cause their contracts aren't ironclad like WWE or AEW
especially Tessa who also works CMLL
also because it seems that TNA is a sinking ship commandeered by braindead morons

At least they've re-signed Tasha Steelz
>>
I don't even know what TNA does at this point. The best guy they've got is Mustafa Ali, and he's way too good for TNA so far can imagine him leaving soon. Who do you even make your top guy? Cedric Alexander?
>>
>>20668544
Has anyone ever given a solitary fuck about Tasha Steelz?
>>
>>20668562
where does ali go? he’s old but can’t really be stuffed in a faction as a body like cobb was so i doubt WWE does. does tony poach him just to fuck TNA harder?
>>
>As previously reported, former World Champion Tessa Blanchard has shockingly exited TNA after she was granted her release from the promotion. PWInsider has a report with more details on the matter.

>Fightful reports says that politically, Blanchard could not to continue wrestling for CMLL in Mexico and continue working in TNA, due to TNA’s promotional partnership with WWE, who also owns Lucha Libre AAA, a competing brand to CMLL. CMLL is also a promotional partner with AEW, a rival to both TNA and WWE. Dave Meltzer reported earlier in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that TNA officials weren’t happy about Blanchard still regularly appearing in CMLL.

>PWInsider notes that Blanchard opted to retain her ties with CMLL, where she’s wrestled for years. Fightful Select reported that Blanchard’s status in CMLL isn’t changing.

>>
>>20668623
I'm not sure. Tony obviously passed on him before, but I guess him being part of TNA might make Tony interested. I know that Ali said in a CVV interview that he'd consider going back to WWE, and he had nice things to say about Triple H, but I don't know if WWE wants him again.
>>
>>20668444
>le tolerant left
>>
>>20668624
This is so stupid. I don't know if this was truly a WWE call or a TNA call, but if it was TNA who made the decision they're idiots, and if WWE made the call then TNA should be pissed off.
>>

>>
>>20668358

>>20668683
She is continuing to work at the Mexican company that doesn't have El Grande Americano
>>
>>20668678
yes. you can blame troonfucker scott damore for putting them in this predicament.
>>
>>20668689
CMLL is probably paying her better than TNA was. i would say tessa could go to AEW but their rabid communist homo fanbase would surely reject her like they did with ronda rousey.
>>
>>20668698
She would never be accepted in AEW. It fucking sucks that her TNA run is ending like this. I do feel like TNA should've pushed her harder instead of making her carry Alicia Fox's strung out ass.
>>
Losers on here spent a whole 3 months on here wasting their time spamming, trying to convince AEW fans that TNA was the NEW 2nd promotion in America lol
>>
I wonder how long the WWE partnership is going to last. It's getting to the point where it looks embarrassing for WWE to be associated with them.
>>
>>20668629
i can't imagine that WWE is going to take any other TNA talent unless they know they'd 100% leave for AEW if WWE didn't come knocking + they know they (WWE) can definitely make good use out of them. leon slater is an example of both.
they'd want as many people in TNA as they can keep there, which is why its becoming the home for misfit wrestling toys, even more so than MLW already is.
it's for this reason that i don't actually think they'll sign santana, despite recent reports they were inquiring about him.
>>
>>20668710
it's kinda already over in practice. there haven't been TNA wrestlers on NXT in a long time. there were NXT wrestlers on TNA more recently, but none currently and for a while arianna grace holding the knockouts title hostage was the extent of it. on paper it might be different, but idk what WWE is putting into this partnership if its still going.
>>
>>20668705
tessa is a good example of why we really need an anti-woke wrestling company. people like tessa who have been unfairly smeared as bigots need somewhere to work too, and i would be plenty willing to help support a company that would provide that.
>>
>>20668729
I think Stacks wrestled Santino a couple weeks ago. But I think Stacks and Arianna are the only ones from NXT on TNA now.
>>
>>20668705
tessa should have had a monster run with the knockouts title.
the knockouts roster is completely dogshit, they should have put it on tessa and just had her rape everybody until they finally found a knockout worth a shit who they could get behind as their top face and had her beat tessa for it.
best way to use tessa's talents and heat, and find someone to actually represent that division in the process.
>>

>>
>>20668770
they should put smackdown on thursdays
it would be kino
>>
>>20668770
I think they spitefully just wanted to steal a few stars and get a hold of that tape library before Tony could get his filthy mits on it and throw it on myaew
The library is fucken huge
>>
>>20668801
It's a huge library, and there's WWE wrestlers whose careers you can't tell the full story of without that library. AJ, Angle, Booker, the Dudley's, the Hardy's, LA Knight, the list goes on.

They reject anything or anyone that could appeal to anyone who isn't them. When Tony's experimented with the format of Dynamite and got a big 700k rating? They pitched a fit.
>>
>>20668914
tessa probably has friends in many locker rooms all over the world. the problem is the fans more than anything, not really the other wrestlers. the AEW crowd would never take to her and the SHE'S A RACIST chants would never stop. that probably doesn't happen in WWE because nobody would know who she is.

Tony did Dynamite with a little more of a car crash TV approach than normal, AEW sickos hated it, Tony went back to doing Dynamite the normal way the next week.

He doesn't care either because he thinks that partnership with NXT is worth something

>Tony poaching talent
And none of them any good either.

She’s staying with CMLL
At best she’s gonna do Culioneros
>>
>>20668969
>Delirious
I thought he was dead nglmn
>>
Man I remember this time last year I thought the Knockouts had a good foundation. Tessa, Xia Li, Masha, and Dani Luna in the main event scene, and with some development you could throw in Myla, Harley, and either of the Elegance gals. Now half of them are gone, more probably leaving soon, and they've replaced them with Whora and a literal crackhead
>>
>>20668982
WWE isn't gonna buy TNA. the entire point of them partnering with TNA is so that they don't get sued again after MLW successfully got $20 milly out of them for suing them for monopolistic practices in an antitrust suit.
TNA can be the cockroach corpse fed its been for however many years now just because WWE needs it as an independent entity so they can have something to point at and say "look, we're playing nice."
to them, owning the tape library for footage of a handful of notable wrestlers that are either retired or in AEW isn't worth getting sued over again.
>>
>>20669002
That and TKO is trying to cut costs lately.
>>
>>20669002
Astounding that a pissant company can sue you for being too successful in a "free" country.
>>
>>20669068
Monopolies are gayer than anything else.
>>
>>20669086
WWE is not and never has been a monopoly
>>
>>20669115
not for lack of trying
>>
>>20669068
Antitrust laws are supposed to be there so there can be a free market of options.
I've never heard of anyone not wanting there to be options in the type of product they consume.
>>
>>20669115
Vince McMahon actively tried stamping out any competition during the entirety of his tenure.
Paul actively wants to see AEW destroyed.
WWE actively and knowingly leveraged their power to make sure MLW wouldn't get a deal on Tubi, that shouldn't have been an issue but WWE made it one.

I've never heard of the NFL trying to stamp out Arena Football, or MLB trying to destroy the minor leagues
>>
>>20669134
I'm pretty sure AEW would still exist even if antitrust laws didn't.
>>
>>20668398
No because I'm not retarded so I'm capable of checking it out for myself
>>
>>20669120
>>20669176
>tries to stamp out competition
>fails
Seems like a complete non-issue except for a pissant company like MLW.
>>
>>20669177
>AEW out of nowhere
Not even about them but I don't see how you justify why a literal C-tier promotion shouldn't get a show on a C-tier streaming service just because the bigger competition says so.
What damage could MLW on Tubi have done to SmackDown on Fox? Especially since WWE didn't even have any content on Tubi the time they pulled the stunt.
>>
>>20669180
WWE were the ones who should've thought of MLW as a non-issue since it's not on their level
But for some reason they did.
>>
>>20669180
ok, now why did it fail? because there were laws in place to ensure competition.
>>
>>20669189
WWE has a show on Tubi and it's perfectly reasonable that they don't want other wrestling shows on the service as part of the deal. If MLW was a show that more people wanted to watch, maybe they wouldn't be on YouTube.
>>
>>20669002
They can probably buy the library separately without worrying about antitrust. And I'm not convinced antitrust will be an issue these days with the paramount buyout of wbd. Laws can be eroded or skirted.
>>
>>20669198
WWE would have lots of competition without antitrust laws. Maybe not MLW, but other companies would still exist.
>>
>>20669203
>WWE has a show on Tubi
Not at the time they strong armed them they didn't
>>
>>20669068
We get it, you want the only professional wrestling in town to be WWE
>>
>>20669203
>If MLW was a show that more people wanted to watch,
We won't know that because WWE felt threatened by their existence long before Evolve was ever a thing on Tubi.

WWE shouldn't be allowed to decide whether or not any other promotion gets a show on TV or streaming, that should be a network call.
>>
>>20668953
He had just started aew. I think it was on its 1st or 2nd year.
>>
>>20668995
Whora is only signed a 1 year deal. She'll be gone by January. Unless she ask for her release too.
>>
>>20669223
Abolishing antitrust laws would not make WWE the only wrestling in America
>>
>>20669287
But it wouldn't protect smaller promotions from WWE's attempts to be either.
>>
>>20669304
How's that my problem? Should I be able to ask the government to stop somebody from running a restaurant in my town because nobody wants to come to my shitty restaurant?
>>
>>20669313
So basically you don't give a fuck if that's one less place wrestlers can get a paycheck at?
Cool, cool, I didn't realize workers should just get fucked over because you would prefer they do.

>>
>>20668410
You don't have to "disappear" from TNA to go to WWE anymore. They'll happily just transfer you there at the end of your deal. This means she's joining another company outside of the WWE bubble.
>>
>>20668761
We all would if we could find a buyer. Such easy money.
>>
>>20669329
>That worked out really good last time for everyone
I don't know what time you're referring to, because at no point in history was WWE the only wrestling promotion.
>>
>>20669329

>>
For what it's worth, I do believe that not letting the TNA wrestlers face AEW wrestlers is a Carlos decision. WWE ID wrestlers are allowed to have matches with AEW wrestlers so I don't see why WWE would tell TNA that they couldn't.
>>
>>20668562
>I don't even know what TNA does at this point.
it exist to be sold, probably to WWE but the video library is no longer that valuable since the network was shut down.
>>
>>20668693
I thought Damore was against TNA working with WWE?
>>
>>20670227
if ID wrestlers had any restrictions on their bookings at all they'd never get booked, WWE has to play ball with that program or it'll never get anywhere
>>
>>20670346
let me save you the suspense: e-drones are stupid as fuck, have no idea what they're talking about, and just regurgitate shit they read online in their never ending quest to console war in defense of wwe.
>>
>>20670346
Damore wanted Anthem to increase his budget so he could atleast try to retain some kind of solid talent roster, he knew he could never compete with WWE or AEW on contracts but knew enough that working with AEW would give him a little more access to top higher tier talent whereas WWE was always going to send him scraps. Anthem basically said actually we want you to have less of a budget so he made an offer to just buy TNA outright, they told him no by just firing him.

I don't know why WWE in not interested in Mustafa. Pick him up in his current gimmick and give him a stable and you could hotshot him into a world title feud against Cody for a couple of months. He'd be a great midcard heel after that because he plays a guy the crowd is not going to cheer ever.

He was doing his current gimmick in NXT when they fired him the first time. Although I think the reason they fired him is that new management had just come in, and Ali had previously asked for his release but was denied. I think TKO was looking to make cuts, and if he already didn't want to be there, they were happy to let him go. Ziggler said that's exactly what happened to him, he had asked for his release before, was denied, but then was cut when TKO was in charge.
