How did WWE lose more than 97% of their audience?
>>
>>20676598
That was in 1988, can you explain why in 2019 AEW was drawing 1.4 million and now they draw 300,000?
>>
>>20676610
Raw went from 6 million global weekly views to 2 million global weekly views in under 1 year
>>
>>20676664
Oh so global, as in not the USA? damn so it looks like other countries that don't matter stopped watching while it's still number 1 in the USA. Now can you explain why AEW went from 1.4 million on the USA to 300,000 in the USA?
>>
>>20676674
>not the USA?
In the USA Smackdown has fallen from 4 million to under a million lmao
>>
>>20676682
>>
>>20676674
live US views went from 664k to 309k
>>

That was from Fox to USA

https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/top-rated-channels-2025-tv-network-ratings-most-watched-1236613231/

As you see Fox averages 3 million on their network while USA is 472,000

So can you explain why AEW went from 1.4 million to 300,000 on cable?
>>
>>20676695
I'm afraid not fatso

https://wrestlenomics.com/wwe-raw-tv-ratings-on-netflix/

If you look on that site it would appear that the latest episode of Raw live in the USA did 1.3 million, which brutally rapes Dynamite and Collision combined.

Which to be honest shouldn't be that surprising because NXT is raping AEW lmfao

untrue. Smackdown went from 3.8 million viewers to 1.7 million, that's a 54% decline, before FOX even cancelled it.
>>
>>20676703
>believing netflix's own worked numbers

Afraid not fatso, I know you're really mad but can you try answering why AEW went from 1.4 million to 300,000 in a short period? you're not upset because according to Nick it's getting cancelled like your legs right?

The answer is right there. Rock and Cody.

Kayfabe died, people found various entertainment products to satisfy their need for fictional violence.

More people watch the Super Bowl than ever before, the NBA had its best Finals viewership on TV since 1998 the last two weeks, the US average for the NHL’s playoffs was an at all time high this year, baseball is having its best start in viewers in 9 years, the Olympics from 2024 and 2026 have seen a rebound from the pandemic, UFC just signed a massive TV deal with the company that will eventually cancel and divest from AEW. Sports may be fake and gay, but normal people only think wrestling is that.

Concerts are huge despite the economy sucking (independent of the stock market). People plan and save for expensive concert tickets, so WWE changed their touring strategy and is doing fewer and fewer house shows.

Blockbuster movies are cultural events now in various genres, despite less people going to see movies on average.

People want cool characters, cool athletes, compelling storytelling, and stuff they’ve never seen before at a pace that WWE and AEW cannot or refuse to deliver. Every single lapsed fan I know personally considers it a joke and if it wasn’t for close friends working the indies, I wouldn’t even attend it in person for free.

If you care so much, stop being a mark and do something about it.
>>
>>20676598
33 million viewers? Damn. aew could never
>>
>>20676598
Because it's been going slowly downhill since the Attitude Era. Why is AEW losing its TV deal?
>>
HHH drove them away
>>
>>20676598
That's what happens when you cut ties with the Hulkster, brother

KWAB
>>
>>20676610
It draws 600k people but ok
>>
>>20676598
Hogan might be in hades, but he was the GOAT. Can't blame social, either, because not Rock or Austin drew that number.
>>
>>20676598
Are ya'll moronic or something? You can watch WWE everywhere all the time, not having to turn on a specific channel on a specific time to watch it. It's a different time.
>>
>>20679044
Not in the 90s. And nobody else did it then, either.
>>
>>20676598
>Vince McMahon
>Hulk Hogan
>Ultimate Warrior
>Kevin Nash
>Vince Russo
>Dwayne Johnson
>Triple H
>John Cena
>Roman Reigns
That's how.
>>
>>20676598
Droniebros....
>>
>>20676598
because its fuckin lame and gay now.
>>
>>20676598
Because it’s for retarded manchildren
