Since the Ryogoku show was scheduled for Sunday, with a fan event the day before, it seemed like there was plenty of time.>But everything changed when TSA personnel at the local airport staged a boycott.>According to Yamashita: "Apparently it was a boycott on a scale that even the locals had never heard of before. We got caught up in this unbelievably rare situation.">With most of the security staff off the job, they simply couldn't board their flights.>"You can't get onto the plane without going through baggage screening, and that whole checkpoint was shut down, so it was basically impossible to board. The planes themselves were still operating—the flight crews weren't on strike—but there were incredibly long lines because of it.
