>>20769803I think part of it is that HBK is running NXT, and because HBK always had a chip on his shoulder over being told he wasn't the right body for a pro wrestler he always wants to push these guys who also don't look like a pro wrestler. Part of it is probably the idea that Mason looks like a fat goof and so maybe the fat goofs in the audience will relate to him. Part of it is the wheels came off WWE probably 10+ years ago and there's nobody behind the curtain who legitimately cares anymore.
