Came here to post Coriolanus. Not that bookers are consciously doing it, but we’ve seen version of the theme over and over again in wrestling. I would guess that’s the most common one. Just because of the heel/face turns that happen in wrestling over the course of a career. Even down to the motivations of the relationship between the wrestler and the fans.

Personally, I really like the idea of a full Don Giovani adaption in wrassling.
complete with the dead commander returning as a statue and chokeslamming the heel into hell.
