Cagematch is a fantastic database but as a curation tool its user base lack the curiosity to watch anything older than this week to be useful. For a site staff that has very public meltdowns about tribalism, they avoid doing the one thing that would fix it long term. Don’t let anyone vote on shows and matches until they are a year old. Frankly I’m less offended by modern wrestling getting review bombed than I am the countless voters who openly admit how little they’ve seen of the thing they’re scoring.
