Part 3 of the TNA dark side of the ring starts soon, are you excited?
>>20815929Got my popcorn ready. We're getting to some the real Dixie inanity. Cheers to TNA/Impact for surviving all of this though.
>>20815929I don't watch anti-WWE propaganda.
>>20815929Link?
Hopefully we'll get the Dixie interview in ep 3.
where can I watch? I don't get vice tv
>>20815968Won't happen. I'd like to see her side of all of this history though. >>20815967Seconded pls
>>20815929So the wwe is just shitting on tna now with this program because tna are absolutely desperate for the wwe to buy them out and will just allow this shit.Tna do realise how bad this shits making them look don't they?
>>20815961>pacman jonesthere's a name i haven;t seen in a while. why was everyone pissed off at that guy again? I forgot
>>20815929theyre showing it on baked btw
>>20816030none of the people involved with this have anything to do with TNA anymore, dumbass
>>20815929Part 3 of the Jeff Jarrett PR Tour
>>20816030So far they only really shit on Dixie and it wasn't that bad yet.
>>20816056Link?
>>20816067gonna cry?
>>20816032Found the link.Fans were probably pissed because they were a Tennessee based company who brought in a Tennessee Titans popular player who couldn't wrestle because of his contract and also kept getting arrested. #teampacman tho
>>20816075you can't be this new?
Jeff Jarrett is the GOAT carny
>>20816075Baked.live but it's the gay channel that makes you create an account
>>20816032I think it was one of his posse that actually opened fire but I remember he was at a strip club shooting that left someone paralyzed?
Do Dixie defenders even exist?
I will never forgive Bischoff for getting rid of the six-sided ring. It killed TNA's identity.
>>20816064You say that but.Jerret came out as taking drugs during his wife being sick. Then fucking Kurt's wife afterwards.Kurt just allowing it because he couldn't go back to the wwe.Dustin taking drugs because he's a loser yet blamed tna for him taking doing drugs.Finding out that Nash was sucking up to dixie and rumors of him possibly sleeping with her.It doesn't matter if these guys aren't with the company anymore. It still makes the company look very bad. Even more so now with all the bad stuff going on such as the amc money evaporating, guys quitting, other guys getting fired etc
Based Russo
>>20816120She did bump through a table onto the six sided ring that the talent was bitching about when they tried to bring that back and put together a half decent ECW reunion show but she was always a net negative when in charge. TNA was way better during the Corgan, D'amore, and multiple Jeff Jarrett leaderships though. So, no. There are no Dixie defenders except for milf coomers.
Eric looking like a big retard compared to based Russo rn
Hey! That was the first night I started watching.
They're just confirming what we already knew, Hogan, Dixie, and Bischoff completely killed TNA. Jarrett and Russo vindicated.
IT IS REAL TO ME!
That was a really weird angle. No pun intended. Ok, Jeff's a heel because he's being a great redneck dad to Angle's kids? What is this booking again?
wasn't watching from 2010-2011 so missed the entire Jeff/Kurt thing but was always under the assumption it was a storyline
Oh boy. . .
>>20816120Not really, but she did fucking buy the company for them. She's a retard, but it is disingenuous when guys like Jeff pretend it was all good and like the company wasn't constantly fucking up before she got there. While Hogan and Bischoff did damage, think of it from her perspective. TNA basically had nothing from Spike until they got Hogan. Suddenly, Spike is willing to pay for a billboard in Time Square and they completely paid for his contract. And again, Dixie wasn't even hands off until Jeff decided to FUCK THE TOP-GUYS WIFE WHO HE JUST SEPARATED FROM. He literally caused most of TNA's biggest issues because he couldn't just fuck another girl. It's dumb that people try to babyface when he also did as much damage.
>>20816234It was / wasn't. They were ok with what was going on in real life but Kurt was Perc Angle, Jeff really wasn't a heel here, and Russo was booking shit like NO, BRO WE'RE GOING TO STRETCH THIS REALITY STORYLINE OUT SO NOW BRO THEY'RE WRESTLING FOR KURT'S KIDS' COLLEGE FUND ON A POLE MATCH IN A STEEL CAGEAnd Kurt was just like fuck it. . .Moonsaults.
In my defense, what else was there to watch?WWE?Ok, there was RoH but it always came on at weird times and out of order. Probably should have watched RoH.
>>20816301There was ROH and NJPW if you were willing to stay up overnight.
>>20816335Definitely watched on streams when I was awake. I should have committed.
I mean, it was a hell of a heel move in Mexico
>>20816301I watched TNA too. Even for all the bullshit it was fun, and unless you went out of your way to watch ROH, you'd never see anything like X division matches for a while. Even when it's bad it's at least interesting.
>>20816301NWA Wildside/Anarchy, it wasn't available everywhere though.
>tossing tortillas into the mexican crowdkek based
Hey it's tone dawg
>>20816358Wildside was so fucking basedWord on the street at the time was that Bill Behrens, the booker, had a BBC cuck fetish kek.
why is this site streaming the bam bam bigelow episode
>>20816358Anarchy's Wargames though >>>
>>20816504It just got uploaded on YouTube few mins ago, in watching it now. Just search dark side of the ring tna and scroll a lil. 15 mins was uploaded
this feels like history channel fluff, like they'll have maybe one interesting thing to say over the full 40+ minutes. I like that russo is still mad about shit as if it happened yesterday, he could give bret a run for his money in that regard. kong is so theatrical, it's a fucking interview, chill.
“The little engine that couldn’t” Bischoff had no respect for TNA from the start.
>>20815963AKA "facts"
>>20816064The Hardy's do.
didn't realize just how zesty d'amore is. he keeps it a bit more lowkey on television.
They really exaggerated the importance of TNA and its effect on the wrestling business in the first 2 episodes. Realistically, nobody ever cared about them.
>>20818054he knows you know.gif
>>20818081it was more of a basic jarrett biography and tna just happened to play a big role in it but this series has been running out of content for a while now, they're grasping at straws in terms of the 'dark side' of the business
>>20815963>>20817437Fuck the fed.
>>20817409>this feels like history channel fluff, like they'll have maybe one interesting thing to say over the full 40+ minutesI stopped watching this show years ago because of this. It's just re-telling stories from shoot interviews with Vice production. You will hear nothing you didn't hear or read 15-20 years ago.
>>20818705>>20818097It's because of WWE funneling money into it. They got spooked because the show got popular discussing Benoit, Moolah, Snuka or the steroid trials and the plane ride from hell; and thus, they chipped in as "producers" or whatever the fuck so they never make an episode about the ringboy scandal or the Janel lawsuit, which is why more than half of the new episodes are just the same "The Amazing Times and Story of <insert name of jobber nobody gives a fuck about>" bullshit
>>20817409This last one did, yeah. This probably could've been 2 episodes to be honest.
>>20819000WWE isn't funneling money into Dark Side of the Ring. Tony Khan is a talking head this season, that's enough of a dead giveaway WWE isn't involved.
The best part was Russo crying over Cornette saying he would murder him if he could get away with it and Jim just straight admitting it. Kek don't care about either man's sex life. That right down showed which one is based and which one is the bitch. Im sure some JCW fags will cry over this.
>>20815929I don't watch SorosSlop
>>20819068hi Jim
>>20819048Just because he shows up for a few minutes doesn't disprove my theory
>>20820177Your theory has no evidence in the first place
>>20820258treating the HOF like it's real is pretty good evidence
>>20816142His justification for doing that in the episode was so fucking retarded. the entire Ultimate X concept, one of few TNA original signature concepts that stuck and was over was entirely predicted on the 6 sides design. He completely ignored that existing and just said "oh they never did anything innovative or original with the 6 sided ring concept so it was a moot point to even have it" And nobody called him on that
>>20816470>Wildside was so fucking based>Word on the street at the time was that Bill Behrens, the booker, had a BBC cuck fetish kek.He was just trying to emulate the promoter of the industry leader
>>20818097Scott Hall is right there for an episode
>>20820395cant do an episode with none of his friends participating because they're dead or told to keep away by WWE
>>20818097I am kind of shocked they haven't done a history of the promotion on ECW yet. It would be far more entertaining.
>>20820420The biggest names you could get still around who were actively involved would be Douglas, Taz and Dreamer and with Dreamers recent controversies they may not even want him. Everyone else is with WWE, dead or were Janettys.
>>20820431Sandman, Raven and Jericho. Supplemented with family members or historians it could work fine. They've done episodes where most of the participants are dead plenty of times.
>>20820420The producers did Jericho's podcast a couple weeks ago promoting this Season and mentioned they want to do exactly this. A 4-6 part short series like they did for Who Killed WCW. These 3 TNA episodes were meant to be a similar thing going over the entire company history
>>20820436Mick Foley, Don Callis could do it. Tod Gordon might do it if they plug his book
>>20820437That would be awesome and with the amount of insanity and carny bullshit that went on at ECW it's a fucking no brainer to be honest.
>>20820441Yeah they'd definitely be on board.
>>20820441Jerry Lynn too, he's an agent backstage in AEW. RVD might do it too. Just watching this ep now and the Ring ka King footage they used was clearly ripped from a pirate Dailymotion upload water marked with an Indian desi TV site URL
>>20820458Kek. Yeah I have seen other weird watermarks on footage on there in other episodes before too. And yeah they'd probably do it.
>>20820458LOLTNA
>>20815929I wish Bobby Heenan were still alive to do an episode. He absolutely hated working at WCW and Eric Bischoff for being an asshole who ran everything into the ground.
Say what you want about Jeff Jerrett, the dude is a hard worker.
>>20820496poor Heenan got such a raw deal, karmaically. He was one of few former WWF stalwarts who never shat on Vince or WWF while he was away just stealing Turner money that he hated working for. And Vince never bought him back after the buyout, except for a 1 off at the Gimmick Battle Royale at WMX7 with Mean Gene. Then to lose his voice/speaking ability to cancer, the thing he was most recognised for/that got him over.
>>20820496He used to pop me how he would rarely play into or help sell/get over story lines etc on commentary on WCW. He almost universally sounded like he took it all as a complete joke.
>>20816241>TNA basically had nothing from Spike until they got Hogan. Suddenly, Spike is willing to pay for a billboard in Time Square and they completely paid for his contract. This says a lot about the people at Spike more than anything, considering Hogan and Bischoff ruined WCW while it was still hot back in 1997. You would think that these corporate executives would remember the story of the last big wrestling promotion that went against WWE and be smart about not letting these two near their promotion.
>>20820551>He used to pop me how he would rarely play into or help sell/get over story lines etc on commentary on WCW. He almost universally sounded like he took it all as a complete joke. You have to realize that Heenan was a heel and that would bleed into his commentary. But a lot of times, it was because Eric Bischoff would hold back everything from the commentary. He wanted WCW to feel like a shoot so it would show in the commentary. But that's a dumb idea because when you see an altercation or something go wrong in real life, you typically don't do great commentary and drop promos, chances are you will be quiet and try to understand what just happened. Remember when Heenan asked whose side Hogan was on at BatB'96? There are layers to it; his suspicion of Hogan dates back to their show feuds. But also, because Bischoff didn't tell anyone about Hogan joining Hall and Nash. If Bischoff had told them an hour before the show started, Heenan wouldn't have said that.
>>20820633Yeah but I mean even him playing the heel he seemed to not take it seriously. The Hogan heel turn being one of the few times I can recall
>>20820678>Yeah but I mean even him playing the heel he seemed to not take it seriously.Heenan talked about it in his book. WCW literally killed his spirit because everyone was an asshole to one another, and they would always figure out a way to ruin their fortunes because nothing was ever planned out.
Why was Kurt Angle stupid enough to marry a stripper?
>>20820810percs
>>20816179this is made by the leftist faggots at vice, they were always going to try and bury hogan and all associated with him. jarrett made himself a goddamn 10-time NWA champion when he was in charge, which is the most excessive self-booking ive ever heard of.
>>20818054yeah hes a thoroughly disgusting individual and among the worst albatrosses around the neck of the current wrestling scene. all he cares about is pushing his pet troon and the globalists keep giving him money because he pushes their kind of shit
>>20820379He's right. I watched some matches and they never even used one pair of the ropes to irish whip. The two extra sides were completely irrelevant. You'd think they'd be criss crossing all 3 ways at once, and going in every direction but they were just regular matches. It was always fucking stupid and pointless. A dumb gimmick that never drew a dime
>>20819048im not really pro-WWE but the anti-WWE bias of DSOTR is very plain. if they have tony khan in this episode, that would only reinforce that trend. like most fags, theyre still angry about vince burying kanyon.
>>20820561hulk hogan is THE guy who made WCW number one, fuck off with this seething faggot take
>>20820633>If Bischoff had told them an hour before the show started, Heenan wouldn't have said that.Bull shit. Schiavone was in the same boat as Heenan and he knew to cut off Bobby and sound flabbergasted by what he said to try and save the surprise.
>>20820810Pro wrestlers not known for their intelligence
>>20820561Hogan and Bischoff are responsible for WCW making money, lol. Did they cause harm by the end, sure. But, even the year you called out is proof you have no idea what you're talking about because WCW made money until mid 1999-- Bischoff was already on his way out, and that was when KWAB was the head booker. Dixie made her fair share of mistakes, but what a bullshit program that just babyfaced Jeff, despite the numerous of fuck ups he himself made, including getting played by the initial backer and finance person. And lets not talk about shit like GFW later on that proved he was a carny. Dixie gets blamed for Russo, but it was Jeff that hired the nigga twice. Once at the start to the point that his dad stopped talking to him because he wouldn't fire him, and then again in 2006 (when they just got on Spike and signed Sting-- who Spike also paid for). Dixie gets blamed for the shit instead of the dude that hired him both times. She was an idiot, but Jeff is completely seen as infallable and like he got fucked. They barely mentioned that Dixie saved the fucking company and could've easily just folded the shit if she wanted to. Another issue is that DIXIE wasn't even in the day-to-day UNTIL Jeff fucked around on Kurt. THis is the top guy of the fucking promotion. Separated or not, it caused fucking problems and Dixie got in. From there, Russo sunk his claws. Kurt is nice and won't bury him, but he's hinted at this. That's why he said he'd never bury Dixie.
this was an utterly biased and one sided documentary. it reeked of misogyny from Jeff Jarret who cant stand that a woman is in charge
